Bought a used car and was very pleased I found a car online and drove to Mcloughlin Chevrolet to review. I worked with Dave Ames and we took if for a test drive. I thought the car would be perfect for my daughter at college. a 2013 Corolla with only 15,300 miles. I've since driven the car 800 miles and it drives like new. The buying experience was perfect. We determined a price and they prepped the car and paperwork while I went to the credit union for a check. Came back and within a few minutes, I was off and running. Dave even drove the car home for me so I could drive my truck. Would recommend. More

Poor experience The day we went in to purchase the car we were the only people in the dealership. The old fashion salesman versus manager routine happened. We could The day we went in to purchase the car we were the only people in the dealership. The old fashion salesman versus manager routine happened. We could literally hear the finance or manager on his phone negotiating with our salesman since we were the only ones in the dealership. He could've just walked over and had a conversation with us. That run through with my vehicle was limited because the salesman was more focused on selling other cars once they got busier that day. We almost left before purchasing the car due to the old fashion way the negotiations were dealt with. The service department has not been any better. The car we purchased was slightly used and they did not even check it to make sure it was totally clean or that I had all of the things that should've come with the vehicle. We found sweats socks in the pocket of the seat rear seat and I did not receive my wireless headphones and had to drive all the way back to Portland to get them. We also recently purchased a used Jeep from the Portland BMW dealership and received better treatment purchasing a used jeep then purchasing one of the most expensive vehicles on the Chevy lot. More

Had originally talked with Elliot and he was very helpful and walked through a few vehicles but we could I could not decide on the right move for our family. Ended up coming back a month later and worked with "Big Dave". He was very helpful. Worked hard to get us the right financing program to fit our needs, walked us through the features of the Burb and help us in showing how to operate the many new options that our previous vehicles didn't have. I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Dave Ames if you want a great car at a great price without getting jerked around. More
