Service Dept Unfair Billing My very young (18) year old daughter needed a new key for her 2006 Prius. She had the vehicle towed to McCords after calling and being given a price My very young (18) year old daughter needed a new key for her 2006 Prius. She had the vehicle towed to McCords after calling and being given a price quote for the key. Around 9:00 a.m. the next morning McCords telephoned her and told her they were starting on her car. It took until 4:00 p.m. to finish. When she went to pick it up she was told they had worked on it "in between cars", and then they charged her for 2.50 hours of labor ($337.50)!!! When I called to ask about this I spoke with Lynn, the Customer Relations person. She was no help whatsoever other than to defend the actions of McCords. She did tell me that programming the key is a fixed price - odd it shows up at 2.5 hours of labor on the bill. On top of that, they left the programmer in the back seat of her car, and left her car a mess. She had to make a trip back to return it, so she could avoid the technician guy coming to our house while she was home alone. She was told she would have to pay some sort of rent or something if it wasn't returned right away. Shame on McCords for their behavior in this situation. They will absolutely never get my business - and I drive a Toyota. More

When we came back we said we where going to check out our banks loan options. They insisted on running their own credit check and would not give me my license back so we could leave. I told them I wanted to check my own bank first. I had to threaten the punk salesman with calling the police to get my licence back More
Took a Deposit on a car, decided last miunute not to sell. McCord's Vancouver Toyota took a $2,500.00 deposit from us for a Launch Edition Toyota Supra 3 weeks ago. The car is set to arrive this week and now the owner wants to keep the car to lure in customers. Unfortunately all the other launch edition allocations are spoken for and we're left empty handed. We tried to reach out to the sales manager, general sales manager and even the general manager. They basically told us tough luck and they would sell us a car in 2 months when more arrive. This puts an extremely poor taste in my mouth and I will not be doing business with them in the future! More

Navigation sound is not working. Purchased 2019 Highlander on January 17, 2019. Found there is no voice or sound working with the Navigation system. Since they were aware of this pr Purchased 2019 Highlander on January 17, 2019. Found there is no voice or sound working with the Navigation system. Since they were aware of this problem, I feel they were withholding information that would have affected whether I would have purchased the vehicle. Brought it in and service department was aware of problem but I was not informed prior to leaving dealership with my new car that they were aware has problem. When I brought it back within a couple of days, sales people said they could fix it. If you turn the car off and then back on it might work. I then took it to service on 2/7/19 and they told me that it is a software problem since Toyota had installed new software. They supposedly updated the software and told me that when I want to use the Navigation to input it then turn the car off and restart. Also, they would notify me when the problem had a solution. So far, as of 4/17/2019, I have heard nothing. This is my 4th Toyota. More

McCord’s has serviced my Prius since my purchase.. This morning noticed my dash light icon for tire pressure was lit so I went to McCord’s Dealership and was attended to by Robert Winkler (The Service Advisory). He explained to me the low air pressure was because a screw which caused a slow leak. He said unforntuniarely the tire could not be repaired because it was too close to the side wall. I looked at the position of the screw and it didn’t look close to the side wall. Robert Winklerwent on to say I should buy two tires at a cost of $344.16. I told him that I would think about it but in the mean time, please bring the tire pressure up to 35 pounds. He told me that he could not do this because the air tanks were in the shop and you had to have your car checked in to fill the tires. At that point I told him not to worry his little head about adding air to the tire, I have air compressors and chucks at home in my garage to do this. I took my car to Les Schwab and they repaired the tire at no cost to me.. Guess where I’m going to go when it’s time to buy tires. In fact, I am so angry at the McCord Dealship that I doubt I’ll be back for future servicing and to buy my next new car.. For customer satisfaction, you bombed out..
