A1 Customer Service I recently found myself unexpectedly in-market for a vehicle after a total loss collision. To say I was not in a car-buying frame of mind would be an I recently found myself unexpectedly in-market for a vehicle after a total loss collision. To say I was not in a car-buying frame of mind would be an understatement for a number of reasons. Once I finally realized that my totaled car wasn't going to replace itself, I ventured out one Saturday to see what was out there. I knew I wanted to buy used but beyond that had no clue where I was headed. After several other stops, I visited Meade Lexus of Southfield. Not only was I impressed that they were still open (it was nearly 3:00), I was even more impressed that unlike at the other dealerships I have visited, Joey Fortuna actually came out and greeted me on the lot instead of peering through the window waiting for me to approach him. Joey was immediately friendly in what seemed to be a genuine way (not that skeevy car dealer dude way). He was knowledge and very helpful and made me feel a little better about the process ahead of me. I didn't purchase that day but I left with a solid ideal of the vehicle I wanted to purchase, the RX350. After a few more dealer visits and finding that there were a plethora of RX350s available I secured financing from my credit union. I could have purchased my vehicle from any number of lots but is was Joey's courteous and patient service that brought me back to Meade of Southfield and I'm glad I did. You see, the finance terms secured from my credit union were less than ideal. I explained my situation and what I hoped to accomplish with Joey and he shared that information with Rick Rodriguez, the finance manager. Rick was able to secure financing for me that was more in line with my goals but that's his job and not why I'm including him in this review. I'm including Rick because he too was great at making what honestly wasn't an ideal situation for me pleasant. Both he and Joey were personable and efficient and for that I'm grateful. They made a very stressful time for me as pleasant as could be. More
Meade Lexus Service I had my 2011 Lexus in for regular service PLUS complete detail of vehicle. As usual they satisfied my needs above and beyond. Exceptional Experience from e-mail to new keys I bought a used Honda Odyssey from Meade Lexus that I found on autotrader. From first e-mail to answered questions and additional pictures, to three I bought a used Honda Odyssey from Meade Lexus that I found on autotrader. From first e-mail to answered questions and additional pictures, to three e-mails to close the deal, flying from Boston to Detroit, getting picked up in a new Lexus by Josh, to signing the papers - Joey Fontana was helpful, responsive, accommodating, forthright, patient, pleasant, and professional. I bought the vehicle based on photos and web description, the autofax and Joey answering my additional 20+ questions and sending me additional photos. When I saw and drove the car in person - it exceeded my expectations. The price was right - and the negotiations painless. I drove back 800+ miles extremely satisfied with my car and would honestly consider another purchase from Meade Lexus in the future even if I do live in Boston! More
