If I could give a “0” star rating, I certainly would. They don’t even earn 1/2 a star in my books. This place is trash. Had nothing but issues. Bought a car from them in 2016, was promised free oil changes for life when the monthly payment that was quoted and agreed to, magically increased at the time of signing paperwork. Well, every oil change I have gone for, they claim my account doesn’t have the oil changes notated, so I have to furnish the paperwork or pay. Every time, I hear the same story, “We have scanned the paperwork in and notated your account.” Well, here we are 4 years later dealing with the same thing. Oh, and let’s not forget the time I brought my car up there THREE times because they “forgot” to do my oil change, the main reason for the visit. Well, call me a fool, but when buying a new truck, we thought the used car side may be different... boy was I wrong!!! They came to us with 4 different deals. Every time one was accepted, they changed it and said that was no longer a valid deal. Vehicle is “certified” and safe... HA! Think again. Immediately noticed the good ole diesel “death rattle”. Immediately informed the sales agent (who was great during buying process) and he ASSURED us that it would be fixed at no cost to us. Well, 2 weeks in a rental, numerous back and forth discussions, they say “nothing is wrong” with the truck, despite my personal mechanics report and quote for repairs. These people and their “mechanics” are TRASH! Before you buy a vehicle, definitely have your mechanic take a look FIRST (major lesson learned), or you will likely be leaving in an unsafe vehicle and putting yourselves and your family at risk (like my family was in when our truck lost control on i35). Better yet, do yourself a major favor and use a more reputable dealership. Meador stinks from start to finish.

"Misrepresentation of the Zurich package and poor service"

The Zurich package was presented as paint & interior protection and repair. I tried to file a claim for door dings and paint chips, which I was told by the dealer were covered, but they are NOT COVERED. Also, the repair of my differential lasted about 2 weeks before having to be completely redone. That took weeks! Then my wiring harness had to be replaced. That lasted a week, then the redo on that took ELEVEN WEEKS! My vehicle was returned covered with tree sap.

"Lost auto part"

I took my car to the service again after a year. I was hoping things got better but I was wrong. My engine cover was lost after a simple oil change, upon calling I was called a liar and that I must have lost it before my oil change Friday Dec 27th,, My engine cover was on my car before I brought it in. He adviser continued to say he could not see his tech forgetting my part, but he was not there. I just noticed it off and wanted it back. After being called a liar or confused person I hung up. My part has been on my car for 5 years and now I misplace it. No. I checked my car the evening before the appointment after a repair to my car. The cover is large enough to see if taken off and it just snaps back on. So many inconsistencies when I called to inquire. I had to call 3 times to get a answer.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. As you stated we did perform an oil change on your vehicle. The vehicle was brought in for an oil change the day after it was repaired at another shop. Upon speaking with the technician he indicated the dip stick tube was broken, the engine cover was missing as well as the front air dam was damaged and hanging from the bumper. These items were suggested to be repaired at the time of the oil change. There is an access cover that would have been removed during an oil change. However, on your vehicle, the entire engine cover was missing, therefore there was no access cover to remove. Our goal is to always provide our customers with a positive experience. We regret that you feel you did not receive the level of service we strive for.

I have had my Ram in several times for either service work or factory recalls. The staff is attentive, professional and courteous. I have Ram dealerships that are closer to where I live but I would rather drive to Meador in Fort Worth to get the work done because of the way that they take care of the customer.

Had my truck in for repairs and there was an issue that required management, but Vince and Scott went above and beyond to make sure that the problem was resolved. Definitely recommend these guys if you need anything maintained or repaired. I've bought my last two vehicles at Meador and won't hesitate to buy a third. Great bunch of folks!

"Poor diagnostics and quality control inspection"

This review is for their service department. Briefly: The service writer I had, Jason Biles, was excellent. He was the only thing that kept me from going crazy over this experience. Their loaner car program was very good too. Their service department work quality on my car for this visit was extremely poor. This dealership needs to start focusing on checking their work before giving a car back. Take some training in quality control! They had my car for 5 weeks with 3 visits to fix the one original problem, an oil leak. 1) The first visit they misdiagnosed my problem even though I gave them a photo and detailed description of what was leaking. They thought they knew better! They gave the car back after fixing a problem not related at all to the oil leak. 2) The second visit was a few days later to have them look at the original problem again and diagnose it correctly, I gave them another photo with detailed description. They finally fixed the oil leak properly by replacing the PTU and gave the car back to me. I checked their work and they forgot to re-install one of the fasteners under the car! It was very obvious and a quick visual inspection of the work would have found it. They gave me back an unsafe car. 3) A third trip was needed just to have all the fasteners checked and re-tightened, something they should have done before giving the car back! They have a serious problem with both simple visual diagnostics and quality control/inspecting their work. I twice emailed the service manager with my concerns and I never heard back from him.
