"Terrible experience every time "

- LauraPatricia

Had an 8AM appt for an oil change it’s now 10AM and still here seriously don’t understand the point in having an appointment if your still going to be waiting around for hours. Every single time we have been here it’s always an inconvenience. I own another vehicle from Kia and the experience there is definitely way better. This place can probably learn a few pointers from Kia Service Dept. Service department here really is not recommended.

"Worst Car Detail EVER!"

- Unsatisfied

I was very excited to get my Jeep Wrangler PROFESSIONALLY detailed and willing to pay the $200 fee. I dropped my car off at 7:00 am and they were suppose to be done by 3pm... I arrived and was told they were buffing out a spot on my fender, but would be done shortly. I was there until 7 pm.... Keep in mind, they close at 6 pm... My Jeep looked just like it did when I brought it in... I had to get the service manager to attempt to get my situation rectified because my service representative, Dan Guevara, was initially acting like it was satisfactory... They apoligized finally admitting that my car was neglected and offered me a free detail if I brought it back... They assured me that it would be done properly... I brought it back, they kept my car from 8am until 6pm AND I GOT THE SAME RESULTS!!!! It was HORRIBLE. I felt devalued as a customer. Meador Jeep should be embarrassed in providing such poor service... I will NEVER take my car back and I will never purchase another vehicle from them again.

"Unsure if work was completed "

- Inezh0615

Went in for recall and routine service now wondering if I should have used Ram dealership on West Camp Bowie definitely would have saved me time Great until time to leave tire sensor still on (one of the things to be fixed) notified my service advisor of this and was total it would go off shortly after drive off (not my job no.clue) 25 miles later lights still on apologized and ask to come so I turned around and headed back watch my advisor on the phone and talking to other service employees 10 minutes the she pulls out her purse grabs her coke returns her purse and.leaves for lunch (would have liked lunch or may breakfast even thanks to new advisor listen to key go off he proceeded to put 10 lbs of air in each tire lights go off WASNT THAT WHAT I CAME FOR TO BEGIN WITH DID THEY ACTUALLY CHANGE MY OIL AND FILTERS OR JUST ROTATE MY TIRES

"Where is my car?"

- sulli1975

My vehicle has now been in the service department for a total of 13 business days and still no word on what is wrong. Dropped it for vehicle not holding charge, same issue a year earlier as part of a recall for the alternator. We had both the alternator and battery checked prior to dropping it off this time though. So, they tell us they are checking the alternator/battery, even though we tell them they were diagnosed elsewhere the same day, but only after we called them to find out we had not been updated on our vehicle, because our service advisor was in training and not at their location all week. Anyhow, no cost to us, as the dealership didnt code the first recall for alternator.......................so we were happy. They informed us that it could have also been caused by the fact that our "flash to pass" switch in the column was stuck, but they never even looked at that problem. Called us after 7 days to tell us all is well and vehicle is ready to go. Get to dealership and guess what? Car wont start again. Long story short had to argue with both the new service advisor and service manager about our vehicle and the inconvenience, plus the fact that they didnt even look for the original fault. So, get a free loaner from them and are advised by the new service advisor that it would be looked at the following Tuesday with the diagnosis. New service advisor says he was now our "guy" because he tends to communicate better than our previous one. Really, on Wednesday we had to contact the service dept multiple times, our new service advisor, the old service advisor, and the service manager again. Now Thursday business day 13 and we dont have our vehicle, they cannot tell us or will not tell us when its going to be completed, and to top it off stated that the tech was working on the repair. So, we informed them we had not been notified with the cause of the problem and had not agreed to any repairs, so how in the world could they be "fixing" the vehicle for unauthorized repairs. Now they are not responding at all. Pretty sad place to do business with. GO ELSEWHERE!

"The Worst Dealership and Service Department"

- barberb

By far the worst, most incompetent dealership I've tried to use in 40 years. I made an online service appt and then I was immediately routed to a vulture in the sales department. Once I told them I had no interest in speaking to anyone in the sales department, my service appt disappeared. I had to call in and make a manual appt. Juan, the person who was supposed to take care of everything - screwed things up completely. I explained in great detail that I was coming in from out of state to visit family and I had a limited window to get a recall repair completed. Juan assured me the part was in stock and they would get me out the same afternoon. I got up early to get to the dealership and drove about 40 minutes. When I arrived, the service department looked chaotic from the start. Juan wasn't anywhere to be found, so another employee started to pull up my appt. He confirmed they didn't even have the part in stock. I wasted half a day during a family visit because Juan doesn't know what he's doing. In my opinion, this is the last dealership you should consider for ANYTHING - especially service.

"Bait and switch all the time. Way overcharge!"

- burlesontx

Hate to leave negative reviews, but don't want others to get scammed. Businesses need to have better credibility and integrity. Here's the story...On November 9, towed to dealer. Spent nearly 3 hours waiting for them to deal with it. Told me everything was covered under warranty, including the loaner vehicle. On November 20, I was sent an estimate via email for $5386.80. I told them I wasn't going to spend that much and that we were going to take the vehicle someone else. When I sent a tow truck to get my vehicle they told the driver he couldn't take it until I paid my "outstanding bill." They told me that I owed almost $1,400 for the "rental vehicle", diagnostics fee, and almost a brand new PCM. I said, "What bill? I never authorized you to do any work." I was never called, nor was I told that work was going to be done without my permission. Because they wouldn't let me take the vehicle, I had no choice but to pay the bill (which they finally "agreed" to settle at $769.87). The other repair shop said they should have taken care of the fuse box before they changed the PCM. It might not even have been bad. Apparently, this is a common issue with our vehicle. The ground does not run to the battery as it should, it is grounded to the fuse box, causing mini explosions and surges. Dodge is blaming it on customers. I then towed the vehicle to another shop. The PCM was changed out without my permission and before the fuse box was replaced/repaired. Shouldn't have been done in that order. You always fix the power issues first, otherwise you can damage the new computer module. We our now driving our van around with everything completely fixed WITH DEALER PARTS for $1179.51, including labor!!!! I told my friend about it and he asked me what dealer it was. I told him it was Meador on I-35. He had the exact same thing happen to him several months ago on a Dodge Caliber. They quoted him over $5,000 and he went somewhere else and had it done for $2,000. Apparently, they told him he had issues that the other shop couldn't find either. I will NEVER take a vehicle back to these guys again. UPDATE: I bought a used Dodge Grand Caravan GT with 6,220 miles on it. I called the manufacturer and confirmed it was under warranty before I bought it. Took it to Meador for an air conditioning thinking what could go wrong, right? Then they told me there would be an $89 diagnostic fee if it wasn't covered under warranty. I thought who cares? It will be. After they inspect it, they tell us it will be $250 to fix. I could have taken it somewhere else for $80, but I figured after I paid the $89.95 fee and all the hassle it wasn't worth it. My wife came home and told me that she picked up the van, they told her there was no charge. Cool! A week later they call me and tell me I owe them $250. Avoid this place at all costs!

"Lies and hurt"

- Carolann

I took my truck in for a oil and tire rotatio. Got it home and the emergency break didn’t work. Took it back up there. And they told me I drive with it on. I told them no because it will beep and the dash will light up letting you know that it is on. Now they are telling me that I have to replace the whole back breaking system. I only had my truck for 6 months and have less then 8000 miles on it. But for $1796.00 They will fix it. For something that I didn’t even do. This is the worst place to go. They try to nickel and dime you to death. It doesn’t Matter if you have bumper to bumper coverage. They still don’t want to help you. They don’t care about the customer. Once you buy your vehicle you are all on your own. I feel like no one likes to help you. And the guys treat you like you are stupid and don’t know anything.

"Service Department-Has to be the worst one ever!!!"

- Ram2500

I had made an appointment online for 9/5/2018 for oil change, tire rotation and balance and recalls. I arrived at 745 am for my 8 am appointment I pulled in and after about 10 minutes the 2 males sitting there finally helped me. So finally after getting everything straight, they told me they do not have the water pump for that recall, I was fine with that, but I was assured that my oil change, tire rotation and balance and the sift interlock recall (I was told just a software update)would be done. I received a text from Christina if i needed anything to respond, well around 10:20 am I texted back asking what was the status of my truck, after about 15 minutes no response, so i went to the service advisor's office and I asked for some help, at first no one would help me, then finally someone called my service advisor saying I wanted to find out about my truck, waiting 10 minutes and still no one showed up, the guy called the service advisor again, (if she was busy why didn't she ask them to help her or why couldn't the gentleman just find out what was going on) so after about 20 minutes of still not finding out what was going on, I told them I just want my truck and that I was done. Finally my service advisor shows up and tells me they are just staring on the recall (mind you appt was at 8 am, and it is now 11:30am, I know it doesn't not take 3 plus hours for oil change and tires rotated and balanced). I told them stop and i just want my truck. Finally went to cash out and the lady just tells me to sign the invoice, glad I always look over the invoice because they said on the invoice that they did the recall on the invoice, so they had to call service advisor again to get the invoice correct. So i get home and they didn't even clean the oil that spilled from changing the filter and they rotated the tires and balanced them, but they didn't change the air pressure, front tires and rear tires where not correct. Come on Meador, where is the quality control on a simple task. horrible service this is the last time I will ever go there.

"UNPROFESSIONALS"

- Misha

(-infinity stars) I have never in my entire life experienced working with a SCREWED up dealership like this EVER!! My experience is too long and horrendous to explain! The short story! Run! Watch out! Talked directly to Dan, Sam, Scott, & Mr.Charlie (GM) of Meador in Fort Worth off S.Fwy. Still waiting on the GM to call me back. I was specific about asking the process of how things were suppose to go. Ordered a part for the steering column from their service department on 8/16. Dropped vehicle off the evening of 8/20 and left key in DROPBOX. Was scheduled an appointment on 8/21 to have vehicle diagnosed and part put on. I was told the vehicle would be ready on 8/22. When I arrived to pickup vehicle—they said “NO ONE had checked the dropbox today”. Soooooo..... I had to leave w/o my car & was reassured that everything would be ready the following day 8/23. Seriously! I went without my vehicle up until 8/30. No one would communicate with me during this mess. All I got was a RUN-AROUND session the entire time. And to top it off I had to come out of my pocket $1200 for THEIR FAULTS. And NOW my car isn’t running again. What an awful experience! I will never recommend this place to anyone! GO ELSEWHERE! Trust me, it’s not worth the time or headaches that I put into it! What a joke. Low integrity, lack of character, basically dishonest!!

"Worst Customer Service EVER!!!"

- MEADOR CHRYSLER- Lacks Customer Servive 1's and NO

Meador Chrysler Dodge has had the worst customer service I've experienced in my LIFE of cars. DOES not matter if you have an appointment or drive in early morning- wait time is always a minimum of 3 hours. Not including the time it takes for someone to help you at pull up... normally 10-15 minutes just watching the squirrels scurry around you like your invisible and sitting in a tree. Wow!!! Don't go to Meador Chrysler the service is crap and worst ever. Servive Manager, Junior - you can do a much better job training your team of zombies. It's time for Christina to enter into a training program. Customer Servive and time management still is not her strength after all these years. Revamp your program Meador, rise up and acknowledge customer concerns and complaints. Social Media is powerful!!! I've been coming here faithfully to service my jeep since 2015, each time hoping it would be better. Well, that was wishful thinking!!! I will never buy another chrysler jeep vehicle from Meador Chrysler and will postvevery place possible that you guys don't care about the customer and clearly have no sense of customer service or management accountability. You want 10's and YES... earn it and stop begging for what you clearly CANNOT provide Meador. Christine time for training or new job!!!!!!!
