I purchased a SL550 last year and had brought the car in for yearly inspection. While I was waiting for my car I went out on the lot to look at SUV's. Even though I loved my SL550 it is not a car that you for yearly inspection. While I was waiting for my car I went out on the lot to look at SUV's. Even though I loved my SL550 it is not a car that you want to have on the road during bad weather so I was considering an SUV. Steve Smith greated me as I was looking at the SUV's. Mr Smith was very knowledgable about the vehicles and immedately we went for a test drive. I thought I had decided the model (2012 MS350)I liked but when it came down to pricing and monthly payments we could not get the numbers to work for me. Not being discouraged he suggested a later year model. It happended that they did have a later model that was not black or gray or had black interior. After a test drive we decided that this would be the one for me. After some discussion we arrived at a figure that worked. Then it was to the finance guy. I think his name was David. He was the most friendly guy in the world. He did not pressure me into all those add ons but did give me good advise on the options I should take. Thanks David for your advise. Overall this was a wonderful experience as was my purchase last year and in a couple of years I am sure I will be back to purchase another car from Rosner Mercedes-Benz. After driving from Richmond to Fredericksburg only to be presented with an offer that was NOT what was discussed the evening previous I got back in my car and pulled over a mile down the road. I called Perez (the sales manager at Benz) who had been recommended to me by a friend. I shared my terrible experience with their sister store (they share a parking lot) and he told me to come back and lets see what we could do. From the moment i pulled onto the MB lot Boba greeted me and took care of me until the transaction was completed. Everyone was patient and nice and I am incredibly happy with the service AND the vehicle that I drove home that day. More
BUYER BEWARE--Scrutinize all documentation very closely before signing because once you sign you are on your own. Bought used SLK which did not have windscreen- asked during sales process and was told it w before signing because once you sign you are on your own. Bought used SLK which did not have windscreen- asked during sales process and was told it was an option but quick guide from Mercedes says it comes with the car as does Mercedes USA -dealer also provided a window sticker at time of purchase(2012) which indicated that the car had a wind blocker. After sale I asked again and they said they would send original items sticker from 2006. Should not the 2012 sticker they placed on the car superceed the originial sticker????????????? In the end they offered to sell me the windscreen at their cost of $500 but I declined. I also discovered that they provided me with an inspection certificate that lists the miles on the vehicle significantly higher than the odomoter miles indicate but they have no answer for that either. There are several other discrepancies but I will not bore you with the details. Just a warning- shop with extreme caution. Makes one wonder............... Thought it was a dealership of integrity but found out differently. I personally will never go back and will steer others in a different direction when possible.Will also report to Better Business Bureau More
Ive been doing business with this dealership for many years and have always been pleased with the entire organization. Yesterday I decided to downsize and trade my 2005 Mercedes Benz for a more economic years and have always been pleased with the entire organization. Yesterday I decided to downsize and trade my 2005 Mercedes Benz for a more economical vehicle (reitred last year). Steve Smith was my salesman - I told him the price range I was looking for and he found me what I thought was the car for me - 2010 Mazda 6. I had to take the car back today to correct some paperwork and to fix a slight rattle in the sunroof. Steve gave me a 2010 Toyota Camry as a loaner to use until everything was ready. Well, I got about a mile from the dealership and realized that I liked this car much better than the Mazda - DUH! I called Steve right away and told him I was on my way back and that I wanted the Toyota instead of the Mazda - he was ready and waiting for me. He and Dave Bower, the finance manager, made the transition as painless as possible. I cannot say enough about Steve and Dave. They were respectful, kind, patient, professional and I would recommend their services to anyone reading this review. If you're looking for a new or used vehicle, this is the dealership to start with! More
