Went into the Mercedes of Albuquerque dealership against my own instincts based on my last experience with sales manager Zach Bohlman. I guess I'm a glutten for punishment. This guy insulted us for the se my own instincts based on my last experience with sales manager Zach Bohlman. I guess I'm a glutten for punishment. This guy insulted us for the second time. First time was in June of 2021. My wife and went in to purchase a used vehicle she liked (boxter). When we made and offer Zach came out of his office (typical strategy). He proceeded to tell us that we should look for a cheaper car that we can afford. He did it in front of several sales people who were just sitting around listening to this exchange. We walked out! Yesterday, we made and offer on a GLC, our sales person Marcel had been great. Marcel, is a young man who treated us very well, not pressuring at all. Once again out comes Zach Bohlman. Apparently, when we reminded him of our last encounter he went right to his ingenious go to speil of rudeness and condescending attitude. My wife mentioned that we had to go to California to buy a car the last time we dealt with him (Zach). He responded by saying "you might have to go back". Not sure if this guy is monitored or has had any training. It's my guess that entitlement is disease since his father is the principal owner. You can't send a duck to eagle school. The sad part about it is Zach has the sales folks livelihood in his control. His ego is what drives his approach, which is very dangerous for his employees who are working hard to sell vehicles. I get the fact that managers negotiate with customers but the "how" is what's most important. More
