Wow. I had heard that customer experiences at a Mercedes dealership were above average, but I had no idea how good it would be until I bought a Mercedes this week at Herb's dealership in Boston. I have never, ever been treated as professionally, courteously and in as friendly a manner as I experienced at Mercedes Benz of Boston. Not only did I get a great on an immaculate CPO 2009 ML550, I truly felt like all the staff believe in their products, are passionate about what they do, and are truly happy for me to be there. From the moment I first walked in the door to the moment I left with my first Mercedes, I felt like I was royalty. Straight talk, excellent knowledge of the vehicle and its features and smooth handling of the entire transaction... what else can you ask for? So far, I can safely say that this dealership has earned a customer for as long as I live in Boston. THANKS JERRY AND SHARONA! :) More
We were just starting to look for a replacement for our S2000 Honda roadster and were initially interested in a late model SLK. A web search indicated that a suitable model was on hand at MB of Boston so we stopped in on a very cold morning when we had other business in Boston later in the day. We were paired up with Georgina who proved to be both winsome and highly professional. She was thoroughly familiar with the vehicle of interest and provided an excellent test drive opportunity. Although we ultimately purchased a different brand of roadster, we will revisit Georgina when next in the market for a Benz and, in the meantime, recommend her highly to other potential customers. Mercedes Benz makes a fantastic car. This dealership is well organized and is managed very professionally - and everyone is friendly and attentive. From the moment you walk-in or drive into service, its always a pleasure to arrive and stay. Herb Chambers knows his business. A year before my purchase, I walked in - or rather bicycled in - and Tom Parker was there, ready to help. I told him I wasn't ready to buy, but I needed to evaluate the terms of a possible purchase. Tom gave me his complete attention, gave me all the information I needed and told him I would be back in a few months. A year later when I decided to trade-in my Honda Accord for a C300, I went back to Mercedes Benz of Boston - not because of all the great things about the dealership - which are expected of luxury brand - I went back to Mercedes Benz of Boston because of Tom Parker. I have been in sales all my life and I know sales, and Tom is a fantastic sales executive. He speaks his mind and tells you things as they are - no smoke and mirrors - he's also charismatic and a perfect gentleman. Tom found the right car, managed the financing and made sure I was buying the best car for me and NOT the best car for the dealer to sell me. And most importantly, Tom gained my trust and stood by his statements 100%. The bottom line is that I bought my C300 from Tom Parker - not the dealership. As for the Certified Pre-Owned C300 I purchased, it has been a disaster - with multiple trips to service. Thankfully Tom recommended that I purchase an extended warranty and more than $10,000 in warranty claims have been taken care of - no questions asked. And every time I went back for car trouble, Tom and the service team were always by my side when I needed them. So the car has been a lemon, but I am so happy with my experience with Tom that I will always go back to Tom Parker for advice and my next vehicle. Tom understands that a relationship based on trust and transparency will bring many sales over the years. Five stars to Tom Parker and Herb Chambers - 4 Stars to Mercedes Benz - I will give them one more chance. More
