Unprofessional Communication: Throughout the two weeks the vehicle was in the shop, multiple voicemails went unreturned. When contact was finally established, the advisor (Shane) offered excuses about bei the vehicle was in the shop, multiple voicemails went unreturned. When contact was finally established, the advisor (Shane) offered excuses about being 'slammed' rather than apologizing for the lack of responsiveness. Condescending Treatment: The overall tone of the interaction was dismissive and condescending, creating a feeling that the customer was a 'nuisance' despite paying $2,770 for repairs. Inaccurate Warranty Information: Shane incorrectly claimed certain parts were not covered by warranty. When confronted with physical proof from the warranty paperwork, he deflected responsibility to the service technician rather than taking ownership of the error. Loss of Trust & Lack of Transparency: Due to the misinformation regarding the current warranty, I requested diagnostic reports from two previous visits to verify if I had been overcharged in the past. Shane flatly refused to provide these records, stating he 'cannot help with that.' Service Errors: The repair time was extended because the wrong part was initially installed, necessitating a loaner vehicle. Delayed Resolution: It was only after a complaint was made to the front desk—nearly two weeks into the process—that Shane’s attitude shifted, at which point he finally provided a direct line and cell phone number. I would like to add that I am actively searching for my next luxury compact SUV pur hase and was considering GLC Plug in Hybryd, but due to lack of quality in customer service in our only MB dealership in this area I am no longer considering this vehicle. More
