Sam Mingle and the team at MB Chantilly are excellent. I went in looking at leasing a new SLK. I do not like high pressure sales people and have had bad experiences in the past with some sales people at oth went in looking at leasing a new SLK. I do not like high pressure sales people and have had bad experiences in the past with some sales people at other dealerships. I usually go in on the defensive prepared for high pressure tactics. However, that was not the case at MB Chantilly. Sam and everyone I encountered was friendly and not high pressure. He let me test drive, ask questions, etc and get to a decision on my own timeline. I did not make decision on the first visit or second visit. It was the third visit over several days when I started to work the specifics and close on my decision. I really appreciated not being rushed into it. Sam got me the car I wanted with the options I wanted and answered all my questions. I have had my SLK now for about 3 months and everything is fine. No issues. I would definitely recommend Sam and MB Chantilly to others and actually have mentioned them to some friends. More

After owning several Lexus vehicles I was shown an alternative that suited me perfectly. My Mercedes Benz sales person helped me fine the right car with all the right options. He did it without the hassel and stress that tends to come with buying a car. For me that's a major requirement. Stress and hassle comes with the territory in making the money to afford the car you want. You shouldn't have the same stress in spending it too. My sales person, Sam Mingle, understands that. He made my buying experience smooth and drama free. He was knowledgable, honest, and proactive. Sam made the process so smooth I not only walked away from my Lexus buying habit I walked right into a new S550 that got the job done. I liked the process so much I decided to do it again four months later. I bought my S550 in Sept and then came right make to Sam to buy a ML350 as a Christmas present for my wife. Again, Sam made sure finding the right car for my wife was accomplished hassle-free and without her ever suspecting what was happening. Sam made sure my gift was a true surprise, right down to supplying the right bow to complete the WOW. Sam Mingle is a true pro. He doesn't profess to know everything. He's not pushy. I visited Chantilly Mercedes in November of 2012 with the idea of purchasing a 2012 E Class or a demo. When I entered the showroom, I was met by Sam Mingle. Sam pleasant greeting, and attitude in our brief idea of purchasing a 2012 E Class or a demo. When I entered the showroom, I was met by Sam Mingle. Sam pleasant greeting, and attitude in our brief discussion was superb. I mentioned that I was looking for a used Mercedes, he immediately showed me a car that I liked. My wife and I did a demo drive. However, my wife and I decided that we would think about it for a day or so. Sam did not try to exert any pressure on us such as why don't you take it now. I also informed him that we would be buying the car through USAA buying services, he advised us that the dealership was a participant in the USAA program. He gave me his card and said "please let me know if there is anything I can do further to help'. I returned several days later, sat down with him to select the type of car that I wanted and the cost that USAA had provided. His pleasant and can do attitude, along with superior service assured me that this is the dealership that I wanted to do business with. We discussed all of the options and color that my wife and I were interested in. He searched his system throughout the US for the car that we wanted. He found two, but were sold before I made my decision. He continued to look and the dealership found the vehicle that I wanted enroute to the U.S. The price was outstanding, and he assured me that I would have the vehicle before Christmas. Sam kept me informed as to the location of the vehicle exactly when it would arrive and be available for delivery. After taking delivery of the vehicle, I wanted to add two additional options. Sam again walked me through the process, made appointments with the service department and had the options installed. I also learned though the video link with Mercedes on how to operate different functions noted that a storage area under the trunk was missing. Sam immediately took the steps to have the item shipped to him and he personally installed in. It was a cold and blistery day in Va, but he personally installed the missing part. My recommendation to anyone interested in buying a vehicle that they contact Sam Mingle if they want superior customer service, and someone that continues to help in anyway possible after the sale of the vehicle. Chantilly Mercedes is fortunate to have a salesman of Sam's caliber. I have purchased more cars than I care to remember during my lifetime, and from my perspective Sam is among the top three sales persons that I have dealt with in my lifetime. I recently bought Mercedez Benz ML 350 from from this dealership and my overall experience was very good. Actually I visited this dealership few days back for purchase of an used Mercedez E class. The car we were looking for was sold few hours back. We met representative Sam Mingle that day. He was very courteous and in fact convinced us that just by spending little bit more, we can actually afford ML 350 which was always our first priority car. We found couple of white ML in stock also. We came back after a week to negotiate for white ML and to see if it can fit our budget. We spent less than 1.5 hours with Sam Mingle and his manager and the deal was done. The whole experience was very nice and we never felt that we were forced to take descision in haste. We walked out of the dealership in roughly 2 hours with our new car and frankly I give full credit for this deal to Sam as we never thought that we can actually afford a new ML 350. More
The positive experience started from the moment we walked through the front door, on a whim. We where looking at Audi's and BMW's and stopped by because the dealership was near another one. We where greeted and asked certain question on what vehicles we had interest in. The was no feeling of pressure and all of our questions where answered. We explained at what point in the purchasing process we where and it was meant with respect with no pushing. We reviewed what they had in stock and Robert walked one of the cars in the class we where looking at... going through the outside and inside features (including under the hood). We where offered a test drive but declined due to the time at night. The next day we returned to the dealership and Robert pulled a few of the car from stock and offered a test. He was depth and knowledgable of the different features on the cars. Our two oldest kids where with us and Robert offered them snacks and got them drinks while we where discussing the options we would prefer on the car. At that point the GM stopped by to answer any questions we had and see our kid offered them pizza... did not have to but it was very nice. We left to test drive some competitors again feeling not pressures. Later in the week Robert called to make sure we had all the information we needed. He was very respectful on the phone and explain that they would love to win our business and that we they would not waste our time if we came in and discussed a deal. We made our choice and after a few e-mail exchanges with Robert we came in. He did not rush, taking time to test drive the cars again picking the cars we where interested in to test drive. When we sat down to discuss the cars and price point Robert offered us a drink and the process went very smoothly. We made our price point very clear and it was met with NO haggling; actually is was better. Again - no pressure, just a very straight forward process - classy. The car was immediately detailed and then brought into one of the two delivery garages were we where provided our new owner orientation. The next day we received a call from the GM and Robert - separately - thanking us for our business and reminding us to stop by the dealership for anything we need. The experience was first class and i would have to highly recommend this dealership. More

I am amazed at how an upscale dealership treats me with so much concern and appreciation - you'd think I bought an AMG! (or whichever is the $200,000 that I cannot possibly afford). Instead of sending me away because my situation was not ideal, they worked hard in making it work. I had 11 months left to go on a lease and it was very likely that I would go over my mileage limit. Freddie showed me my new car and Prince Addy made it happen. They are amazing! I will never buy another brand!
