They said I HAD to purchase the 899 dollar appearance package warranty, but 2 months later, I call the warranty place, they say I have no coverage. Where is my 899 dollars? More
Buyers of a used car from this dealership “BEWARE” I made an inquiry about a car they had on their website Stock #EF079735A. A Red 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ SLK 250 VIN: WDDPK4HA1EF079735. A salesman “Sunit U made an inquiry about a car they had on their website Stock #EF079735A. A Red 2014 MERCEDES-BENZ SLK 250 VIN: WDDPK4HA1EF079735. A salesman “Sunit U Shan” replied to me with a “Vehicle Packet” by text message. At that time, I told them I wanted the car and gave them a deposit of $1000.00 by credit card and arranged to drive 467 miles from my home in Pensacola Fl to pick up the car. On the date arranged for me to pick up the car when I arrived, I was told that due to some problem with the ignition the car would not start and I waited over 5 hours in their waiting room for repairs to be made to the car so that it would start. Hine site I should have left right then. After the repairs were done then I was made to wait for another hour and half for the car to be detailed so by the time I was able to actually look over the car and drive the car it was about 3:30 PM and knowing I still had a 464 mile trip to get back home which meant I was going to be driving after dark (which I hate driving after dark). I was feeling really rushed and did not really get a good chance to check out the car. By the time I got the car home I found that the following items do not work: The Cruise Control The Traction control: The windshield washers: The brake lights stay on all the time: With The brake lights staying on all the time I basically did not have any brake lights which to me this was a real safety issue. So, I took the car to my local Mercedes Benz dealership. It cost me $266.50 just to get the diagnosis only, at which time they called and told me that I needed the rear brakes replaced and that would fix the problem. This cost me $810.12, however that did not fix the problem. Then they wanted me to commit to another 3 hours of diagnosis at $205.00 an hour which then they did find the problem. What they found is someone had made some shady wiring repairs to the car. The total cost so far is $1,850.00 but they did give me a veteran discount, so I only had to pay $1,668.89. They then told me to make the necessary repair just to fix the brake lights (not none of the other needed repairs, which I can live with) Mercedes wants $3090.00 paid in advance and 6 months lead time for them to make a new wiring harness for the car, then they are estimating 40 hours of labor at $205.00 an hour to do the work. Then I must sign paperwork stating that I will not hold them responsible for any damage they may cause doing the repairs. So, if they can get the job done in the 40 hours, they are estimating it will cost me $11,290.00 plus tax and any other part they may need. Once I informed this dealership of this situation their reply to me was “that it was purchased as-is” and regarding your safety concern, if the vehicle is currently experiencing a brake light or electrical malfunction, I would recommend following the advice of the diagnosing Mercedes-Benz service center and limiting driving of the vehicle until repairs are completed which the quote to make these repairs is $11,290.00 plus tax and any other part they may need. So, I have already spent $1,668.89 on a $17,000.00 dollar car that I can’t really drive safely. How much trouble would it be for the dealership to check out any car they take in trade to make sure when they sell a car to a customer that the customer is aware of any problems. I guess the only reason for not doing this is that they do not care about their reputation! I guess I have no other option than to accept that this dealership has taken advantage of me and I KNOW THAT THEY GOT ME TO SIGN A “As Is” form, but once again with what I thought was a High Level type of dealership I never expected that they would sell me a car that had so many problems. That is the kind of stuff that you would expect from a “Buy Here – Pay Here Lot “not an upscale Mercedes- Benz dealership. My advice is if you think you want to buy used car from them take it to your mechanic to have fully c More
I was forced to have a cracked wheel welded in Dolthan, Alabama (the local dealer offered to honor my driveway contract, but needed a week to get a new wheel). MB of Collierville agrees the wheel is welde Alabama (the local dealer offered to honor my driveway contract, but needed a week to get a new wheel). MB of Collierville agrees the wheel is welded in several places, but refuses to honor the contract purchased there "until the tire leaks again". I drive cross country frequently and cannot risk being stranded with a flat on these very special tires. I am not inclined to return to MB of Collierville. More
Worst service ever. Two cars listed for sale on their website were active but told they had been sold. Bryson, the car salesman couldn't find the keys to a brand new car Two cars listed for sale on their website were active but told they had been sold. Bryson, the car salesman couldn't find the keys to a brand new car I was interested in purchasing and left my husband and I waiting outside for more than 10 minutes. When I asked for his business card, he ignored me and asked for my husband's number instead when I was the one interested in purchasing a vehicle. I will absolutely NEVER return to this dealership. I get better service at Honda and that speaks volumes. Their loss, not mine. I'll spend my money elsewhere where service is a priority and not an option. More
I’ve been in this store several times for both sales and service, and while the vehicles speak for themselves, the leadership on the floor is shocking to witness. There’s one individual, a short, dark-haire service, and while the vehicles speak for themselves, the leadership on the floor is shocking to witness. There’s one individual, a short, dark-haired man with an accent, usually in a flashy pinstriped suit that seems to believe intimidation and humiliation are the keys to management. I've personally watched him lash out at employees in front of customers, barking orders, talking down to them, and creating an atmosphere of pure discomfort for me and the people around me. It's honestly hard to enjoy the buying or servicing experience when the staff looks like they’re animals just beaten by their owners. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially not in front of paying clients. It’s a shame, because the team is always capable and hardworking, they just clearly aren't being led with any respect. If anyone in upper management is paying attention, I strongly suggest spending a day here unannounced. The problem isn't the staff, it’s the unchecked ego in the pinstripes. After what i've witnessed recently, I'll be taking my future business to Memphis. More
The service department for this dealership was ineffective in repairing my vehicle and non-responsive in providing a fair and reasonable proposal to honor its warranty obligation. associated with ineffective in repairing my vehicle and non-responsive in providing a fair and reasonable proposal to honor its warranty obligation. associated with the vehicle repair. On Friday, June 20, I took my 2014 Mercedes Benz ML350 to the service department for a scheduled maintenance appointment. At that time, I also informed the service advisor of several warning message lights that had recently come back on the vehicle dash. These warning lights first activated in December 2024. And the service technician recommended extensive and costly repairs be executed.to correct the related problems. A two year written warranty was given on the parts and labor comprising the repair. After retrieving my car from the dealership service center on Friday evening, June 20, I had to take it right back on Saturday, June 21, because the same warning message lights came on again.. Since no one from the dealership's service department called me to follow-up on this matter I made several attempts to contact my service advisor via telephone or text message to resolve this matter. Thus far, I have not received a reply from the service advisor. On Friday morning, ,June 27, I left a message for the service center manager and the dealership general manager; I am still awaiting a reply. More
