We spent about $800 to repair the rear hatch closing mechanism. It worked for several weeks and them quit again. When we returned it for warranty repair we were told it was an additional mechanism neede mechanism. It worked for several weeks and them quit again. I have called two times to be able to have the service writer return my call due to an issue that came up the same day I picked up my car and he has never called me back. Plus, when I got home and read th writer return my call due to an issue that came up the same day I picked up my car and he has never called me back. Plus, when I got home and read the technician notes, he stated my car tires were dangerous to drive on and they were. The service writer said that they recommended that they are changed but didn’t say they were dangerous knowing I live 45 minutes from the service center. I am very disappointed and feel that since me service warranty expired, Mercedes doesn’t care about my safety or making things right. Interesting that my warranty expired a couple days after having my car in and now after two calls and no response, it is expired. Hard to believe it is a coincidence! More
