I had lengthy conversations with sales manager and finance manager. It was made clear there was nothing they were going to do for me. I was told point blank it was my misunderstanding and the options were pay another 2000 or they would go back to Mercedes and change the terms with a higher payment. And my credit scores already took a hit from them running my credit twice when I was told within 30 days they wouldn’t rerun it and they did. I didn’t want another hit to my credit scores. I have bought many cars before and when I talked down payment and finance I never had cash and trade in broken out seperately. You say this is the price of the car and if you put this amount down this is your terms and payments. So when I was told 3000 down I said ok and asked how much for my trade in. Never did I think they wanted 3000 cash plus my trade in. Which is why I was not happy with the call shaking me down for another 2000 weeks afterwards. When you sign a contract and leave with what you bought that’s it they don’t come back and ask to change it and request more money. If they want to make it better send me back the 2000. Then I bought what I said I would buy and had at another dealer ship. Otherwise there’s nothing to look into. Shady dealings don’t sit well with me. I have never bought anything that later said I owed more. I bought 6 Mercedes In all and this is the worst experience out of all of them.
