"Recall Item Not Available"

It would have been smart to let me know that the dealer had not received the replacement recall item in time for the scheduled appointment so we could have rescheduled. As I was to be there for the recall, I had some other non=urgent small items taken care of that I expected to wait for. The main purpose of the appointment could not be done and I had to wait for the other things to be completed. The appointment was made with with a knowledgable person who avised that the opart was not there yet and so we made the appointment ten days later, just in case. Nevertheless, it didn't arrive in time. A small recall item (dipstick) seems to me should have been easy to get in time, o matter where it was to come from. The first notice of the recall was in June (now September). Time to get the supply chain functioning better!

"Old car old recall NO PROBLEM !!!"

Bought a 2003 Mercedes Benz used came in for parts that I need to do some work for it found out there was a recall on some silly little part and they did it for free this is 2018.. great dealership they treated me as if it was a brand new car that I had just bought there great people great service definitely would recommend
