“Caveat Emptor” Buyer Beware! I purchased a low mileage Bentley from MBHG and while I was aware that I was buying “AS IS” when I drove the vehicle home (from Houston to Dallas) a I purchased a low mileage Bentley from MBHG and while I was aware that I was buying “AS IS” when I drove the vehicle home (from Houston to Dallas) and took it to my dealer I discovered that the vehicle needed basic repairs, missed by MBGH, and was missing important original equipment items. I could never have imagined that a dealer of this standing could sell this type of vehicle without at least noting its shortfalls. Sharing my experience - I liked a CPO Mercedes listed by this dealership, hence went ahead and placed a deposit on the car, finalized the total out the door price with sales person. It took almost a ext by this dealership, hence went ahead and placed a deposit on the car, finalized the total out the door price with sales person. It took almost a extra working week extra to fix the things before it could clear CPO certification. I reached the dealership at 10am, an hour before my planned appointment - as I travelled from Dallas. I completed the purchase process appx. 30 minutes before the dealership close time - Very Very Slow process. I finished my CPO Mercedes Benz purchase and reached home. Next day I was looking up the details about the CPO unit that I purchased and came to know that this car has an accident history – several Left side components were replaced (e.g. door shell, step rails, rocker cover, wheel molding) and also involved labor and paint. There was a claim submitted by the previous owner (who leased this car from this Dealership) and the Insurance company logged this claim, an estimate was created and a collision repair company performed the work. I have asked dealership to confirm what I have mentioned above and was it known to them - NO REPLY!! When I asked about the vehicle history, I was offered a clean Carfax history report (that mentioned no accidents and I gladly signed it). None of this was ever told to me as buyer – that this car is involved in an accident – it was neither advertised on the website of Mercedes Benz of Houston Greenway AutoNation, nor listed in the Carfax history, also no one from the sales team shared this fact with me when I was at the Dealership in-person. This car was not purchased at an auction and the responsibility cannot be simply shrug-off by claiming that this information was not known to the dealership. This is a fraudulent business practice and misrepresentation of the facts. I will be formally registering my concern and complaint via email, reaching out to BBB & Auto Fraud Attorney. More

Bad service center service; booked two services here as part of a package from Autonation (this is ultimately an Autonation dealership / service center, not Merc-exclusive), and Mr. Shanklin sent me home b part of a package from Autonation (this is ultimately an Autonation dealership / service center, not Merc-exclusive), and Mr. Shanklin sent me home both times on the first try because he didn't have the filter for my Infiniti, despite the appointment having been booked 1-2 weeks ahead of time. Both times, in the most indifferent tone, "we don't have it, not a Mercedes, you'll just have to come back tomorrow". After making me wait in the car 15-20min each time lol. What a waste of time. Do your job and check what appointments you have, so you have what you need to do your job. Can't even order oil filters, imagine ordering parts for larger repairs. More
