I left my car for 5 days for a battery replacement. The service representative told me they found other problems as part of a mileage evaluation. Today I paid $3,200, initially needing only a battery. The service representative told me they found other problems as part of a mileage evaluation. Today I paid $3,200, initially needing only a battery. I got in the car still in the service bay and two warning lights appeared stating that anti collision driver assist was inoperative and that tire pressure varied among the 4 tires from 41 psi to 24 psi. NEITHER of these warning lights were on when the car was taken in. No one after charging $3,200 had even started the car to see these warnings. Even worse, the air conditioner blew only hot air. It had been fine before going in for a car battery. Now completely nonfunctional. Went in for a battery and when “ready” had 3 new malfunctions. The service representative told me it was not his responsibility to know what work had been done. It was “the tech’s job,” yet we do not see the tech. He said they don’t test drive after work. I didn’t either. I simply started the engine. He had no concern at all. I then spent $62 taking an Uber home and have no transportation. Was not as much as offered a loaner car. Sat in the heat 30 minutes waiting for Uber. I just moved to Baltimore last week. I’ve driven 5 Mercedes over the years. I will never buy a car or again have service at Hunt Valley. They have taken a car needing a battery, charged $3,200, and damaged 3 other functions while they had the car. Run from these people! More
