I have been going to this dealership for years and the last two times I have had work on my car have been disappointing. Before this, I felt like I was taken care of above and beyond! Last fall a tool was left inside my wheel well creating a noise. Because I did not know why my car was making a strange noise (tool was not visible to me therefore I had no idea what was going on), I ended up driving the half hour back to the dealership days later to have them look at the car again. They immediately found the tool and the car was fine, but I never got an apology for the inconvenience. It was a strange experience after years of quality care. I had work done this past week. I left the car off at 8 am. They called late morning to ask if they could do some brake work on my car. When my husband called them back, no one was available to chat about what was needed. It took another hour and half to get a call back! He declined the extra service at this time. I got a call at 4:15 saying they were having some difficulty with the tire change and wondered if they could keep the car overnight. It also seemed strange that they had the car all day and I couldn't get it back yet. This was the second phone call with them! I realize things "happen" but it was not expressed earlier and was only putting on summer tires and balancing them. Super disappointing and will look into other options for service in the future. More

It was Holloway Mercedes for many years, and was quite nice and always excellent. Staff stayed, things were knowledgeable and great. Since Prime has taken over, I think about 2 years ago now, its gone downhill quite a bit though. For sales: Some very good salespeople still, but managers and even the GM seem to stay only a few months. Turnover is high in the car business, but never like this, and was never like this before. Most salespeople we've dealt with have been great, but some have been truly atrocious, but then again, weren't there a few months later, like the majority of the sales team. For service: This is where we spend the most time and money with our vehicles, and are looking at other dealerships at this point. Things used to be spot on- Rosie, the previous service manager, was amazing and kept things running perfectly, along with being friendly and really making sure things ran at the high standard expected with Mercedes. It was great- from timely and thorough service, to very common sense and fair repair advice, it was great. Well she's gone now, most of the past service advisors are gone, and its chaotic. I called up for a price for a transmission service, which used to be $250 as of last year. I got quoted $350 by one service advisor, $550 by another, and $475 by another. All for the same car. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told "Oh the other writers don't know what they're doing." When I mentioned what I used to pay, and asking when it went up, I was told "Look theres no way you paid that a year ago", this coming from a service writer who has been there maybe 2 months.....Who proceeded to be argumentative, and really out of line for a Mercedes employee. Will I buy a car from them again? If the price is right sure. Will I continue to service our three Mercedes through them? Unlikely. We've been very loyal customers for many years to this dealership, and have had excellent experiences always, even with one particular car which was problematic and always in for repairs. They were always to go-to Mercedes dealer- with the service and experience the best in the business, with the best staff who knew their work, and a great atmosphere. Now I walk in, and after seeing the same faces for the last 8 or 9 years, there's maybe 2 salespeople and 1 service advisor left who we actually know. Most of the newer staff are clueless and belong at Jiffy Lube, but it doesn't matter because like a casino switches out card dealers, you get a new service advisor or salesperson every few months anyways, so you get to bear with them each time as they learn who you are, how their systems work, etc. Now its to the point that I can't even get a straight answer on a simple service procedure, and its maddening. Whats even more funny? On the review menu below, you can click off which employees you worked with....half of them listed are long gone, including nearly all if not all managers, and most service advisors. More
