This morning my wife and I dropped of her car to get serviced and look at new convertible. Until someone came up to me to tell me I needed to find somewhere else to park my construction truck because th serviced and look at new convertible. Until someone came up to me to tell me I needed to find somewhere else to park my construction truck because they needed to make room for customers. I was wearing my work clothes and of course I'm Hispanic. He thougt I was part of the construction crew down the road at least hat is what he's excuse was. I brought this up to the manager because of course it made me feel very uncomfortable. But he also seemed to give one xxxx about the whole situation. Of course we are no longer buying there. More
This local dealership is as good as it gets. My salesperson is personal, knowledgeable and very friendly. I was able to get the car that we wanted at a great deal-very happy! I have now found out why seemingly many people take their Mercedes out of the Coachella Valley to another dealership, any other dealership, for repairs or warranty work. I know from first hand experience th Mercedes out of the Coachella Valley to another dealership, any other dealership, for repairs or warranty work. I know from first hand experience this dealership is pretty slippery, (I won't use the "slimy" word). A warranty issue came up for our E450 and they wouldn't cover it, tried to get me to pay for it, Two other dealerships, said it is under warranty. I was furious and wanted an explanation, but neither the General Manager, nor the service manager of Palm Springs Mercedes would return my call. Without actually inspecting the problem with our car, (yes the service individual admitted they didn't look at it, since we knew for a fact they hadn't), They still handed us a quote for $2182.00 for parts and labor, again for something they never actually looked at !! (We have the written bogus quote). Were they going to fix it under warranty and also charge us? Is that even possible? "Slippery" , is that even strong enough? No! Ok, we'll go with slimy !! More
