Going to get a used honda would have had a better experience From the actual used car sales person attitude to going to service my mercedes and they offered to give me a loaner nissan to drive while in service ! Definatley not a luxury car dealership not in service not in staff not in how they handle clients coming to drop 50k !! Just horrid experience! Would never set foot there again! And negotiations and closing took my entire day, well i must have had nothig else better to do than sit and wait for 4 hours to close a deal! More

You Can Have Your Quote, But You Can't Take It With You My wife and I contacted prestige and were directed to Ken. He was friendly, polite and curteous all things we would have expected to be the right ingr My wife and I contacted prestige and were directed to Ken. He was friendly, polite and curteous all things we would have expected to be the right ingredients to getting a good deal done. He seemed knowledgeable about the cars we weren't interested in. On our fist visit, we spent just shy of 2 hours at the dealer, while a little over an hour was just sitting in some chairs for our quotation to be prepared for 2 different models. When the quote was presented the printouts were never handed to us, but held up for us to review while standing in the middle of the showroom. We weren't allowed to photograph it or take it for our records. This was really strange... Especially since I had seen a recent quotation from Prestige posted to the MB World Forums before visiting the dealership. In any case the figures presented were much higher than we expected. When my wife and I settled on a model and trim, we emailed the specs to Ken who replied a few days later with our quotation by phone. Again, we weren't able to obtain a written breakout of the quotation for our records. I wanted to see the breakout of all the costs including the taxes, fees, money factor and what the incentives/contributions were in the way of discounts. I was told it was Prestige policy because they give better quotes than other dealers so they didn't want me using theirs to just go somewhere else. So they numbers were read to me over the phone as an all in cost, they money factor was provided at my insistence, but the taxes and fees were only presented as a sum of all out of pocket, not broken out. I was also made to feel that by asking for these details I was more of an annoyance to the salesman than was worth his while. That was also pretty upsetting. I was surprised that Prestige was afraid of working with a shopper who was doing the homework. I asked if the quotation offered over the phone was the best that could be offered, and was told that it wasn't and that they could always do better... I was a little irked as I did make it clear from the outset that I wasn't looking to play games, this was my 3rd Mercedes Lease in 5 years and I just wanted a transparent deal. I did end up leasing the car I spec'd through another dealer that had serviced my previous 2 MB cars. I accepted the first price that dealer offered me because the deal was fair, and there was no aggravation in the process of getting a transparent quotation that I could review with my wife. That deal was transparent, quick and easy: we went on a test drive for 20 min and had agreed to terms of a lease within 30 min thereafter. After this experience, I am not sure that I will even bother with shopping around on my next purchase, I didn't like how I was treated at Prestige Mercedes-Benz whre I presented myself keen and ready to make a deal. As a footnote, the treatment wasn't on par with my experience at other Prestige dealerships either: Prestige Landrover and Jaguar were excellent through my correspondence with them with quick response time and compete transparency. Overall, I believe I am much happier at the other major Mercedes-Benz dealership than I would have been at Prestige. More
