Mr, Ken Shattuck was very easy to work with, he made me very comfortable and at ease. I was disappointed at the end when we agreed and signed all the paper work , at the last minute another$29.85 was added very comfortable and at ease. Prestige salesman Phil Campbell provided a truly magnificent purchase experience beginning with the initial client engagement through to the vehicle delivery. Phil was extremely conscientious in ensuring that all my needs were met. He was able to work within my price point and acquire my desired vehicle (both color and options) from an out-of-state dealership. As I reside in NY and this is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Prestige, majority of the dealings were handled over the phone. Phil was meticulous in providing status updates and also in his preparations of the paperwork. In addition, I can honestly say that the service department at Prestige surpasses any past experiences with BMW or Lexus. I have had nothing but pleasant interactions with the service personnel. When people comment on how a salesperson is “knowledgeable”, most would take it to mean how well-versed the salesperson is in regards to the technical specifications or range of vehicles, somet “knowledgeable”, most would take it to mean how well-versed the salesperson is in regards to the technical specifications or range of vehicles, something along the lines of “Does he know what he is talking about?” My experience with Mr. Choi has put my perspective of the word in a very different sense. When I walked into the dealership, my wife and I had been debating whether we should lease a new C-class or purchase a used one. We had visited many other dealers of different car manufacturers, only to walk out undecided not even on that fundamental issue. To be honest, we didn’t really bother to ask in details about the two options, worrying that we would have looked too ignorant at the negotiation table. After listening to us for some time, Mr. Choi ‘sensed’ that what we needed was not a suave presentation of the current offers, but a sincere education on different kinds of car ownership. He knew the best way to help customers like us was to fill in the blanks so that we could make our own decision. This knowledge of what the customer needs most is what I think makes a salesperson “knowledgeable.” In addition to this on-target knowledgeability, the way he treated us as he explained the leasing and buying was so personal that we didn’t feel like we were being lectured by some expert who would pounce on the first lapse in our knowledge. On top of this, what made us feel most welcome and cared for was how Mr. Choi stayed after the business hours to get things done as much as possible to save us time the next day. I know the urge to go home the second it’s past the hours, but he stayed with us until all of our questions were answered in the fullest extent. Let me just sum up my experience with Mr. Choi this way: I had been a BMW person for long time, and after this visit, I am now and am expected to be a Benz person for the next years to come. More
