As a long-term Sewell Lexus customer, MB-P does not and CANNOT, in any way, compete with Sewell for its service department. MB is highly inefficient-I had to wait 10-15 minutes for an attendant to FIND a s CANNOT, in any way, compete with Sewell for its service department. MB is highly inefficient-I had to wait 10-15 minutes for an attendant to FIND a service advisor, and for him to show up to accept and register my vehicle, and note my issues. I had to repeat my issues 3 times (a huge pet peeve), and explain I wouldn't be able to pick up my vehicle for several days as I was going out of town, and even gave the date I would pick my vehicle up. This occurred early in the morning, and the dealership was not busy at all; I was practically the only customer in the service bay at that time. When I returned from being out of town, there were several voice mails stating my vehicle was ready for pickup, an obvious confirmation of poor listening skills and poor attention to detail. When I was going to pick up my vehicle, I called in advance to bring my car from the back lot, but I had to leave a VM, which the Service Advisor didn't pick up before I got to the dealership. Then, as I sat near his cubicle, I had to wait 15 minutes while the service advisor was on the phone before he actually helped me; he actually made other calls while I was waiting for him to help me-very rude and very poor customer service. Oh-he did acknowledge me and said, "Hello" between calls. I then had to wait for him to find a runner to bring my van around. One other thing-the entire attitude around this MB dealership, from sales to service, leaves one with the feeling the workers' collective attitudes is that he/she is doing you a favor to assist its customers-a FATAL and DAMAGING problem for any brand. Not good! I highly recommend MB-Plano hire someone to do reconnaissance at ANY Sewell dealership and see how customer service should be handled. There is a reason Sewell is the NUMBER ONE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE IN THE UNITED STATES! And for those who have left 5-star ratings for this dealership; I find those reviews and the reviewers' credibility to be questionable at best! My two-star rating is actually very generous for this dealership. More
