e500 transmission repair Initially took my 2004 e500 to an independent shop in Davis for transmission work and was advised needed a new transmission for $7,000 despite my vehi Initially took my 2004 e500 to an independent shop in Davis for transmission work and was advised needed a new transmission for $7,000 despite my vehicle only having 42K miles. Decided to tow to MB of Sacramento for second opinion. Patrick McGarrity was my service advisor and informed me the electro hydraulic unit in the transmission was faulty and that a new transmission was not needed. The repair took longer than promised and car looked like it returned from Burning Man Festival when I picked it up; extremely dirty and dusty. So, four stars instead of five. More

Defective driver seat cover They kept my car two weeks and It looks worse then when dropped off for warranty repair. I left the car there and told them it needed to be redone. They REFUSED to fix their error and forced me to take the car back. There are no words for my disappointment and anger. Poor quality craftsmanship and dishonest service department manager. Stay away!!!! More
