Bad Service Updated! 2/2019 Having been in the Entertainment business for a number of years and Being a Minister I take pride in representing the very Best, and having owned o Having been in the Entertainment business for a number of years and Being a Minister I take pride in representing the very Best, and having owned over 7 Mercedes Benz Cars, one gets a accustomed to driving the best cars in the world and the expected top notch service that comes with affiliating with the Best. And that what I was expecting when I dropped my wife's S500 off at MB of Sacramento. But instead, I was very Disappointed in the lack of any type of Mercedes' Renown Professional Quality service which Mercedes are known for at their Dealerships and which I have hoped at MB of Sacramento when I drove over 50 miles to drop our S550 off to them. I state this because firstly no one( Service Rep or Client Assistant )called me when I dropped my clean car with no codes present off the Night before to give me a estimate price. I had to personally call late in the day to procure one and was told a 3 hour quoted price but told it wouldn't be that price, it will be lower because they will check it out first.. When I arrived, No one at MB of Sacramento explained my car's issues, Told me to read the Repair order Detail internal copy Printout, what services they provided or attempted, no codes were listed on paper receipt as told by Service Rep#1869. no one in the MB of Sacramento Service Dept showed me where the problems were physically. I was told to read the print out after I paid which didn't have the codes on them and I couldn't understand the many abbreviations the one I did receive on .. Lastly, I was charged the full 3 hours quote! When I left the MB of Sacramento Dealership, my car had the check engine light on, codes on like the taillight bulb out, and to add insult to injury my S550 car wasn't pulled up to front like the rest of MB of Sacramento clients because when MB of Sacramento washed the other clients' cars it completely dirty/mudded up my S550 from front to back. Truly embarrassed driving it out from the Service Dept. Lastly, I was told by the Service Rep #1869 to Junk my S550 Benz it was not worth to fix because to replace the Mercedes Benz AMP alone is 3k and is on back ordered!!...Ohh by the way MB of Sacramento Service Dept , there is no issue with my AMP !!!Truly not a Typical Mercedes Renown Professional Quality service that we all expect for choosing the World's Best Car! Truly a Horrible experience that saddened our household!.. Update !!! After finally digesting the Horrible Service experience at MB of Sacramento and reassuring my down trodden wife, I took our S550 to a Mercedes Indy shop locally and they said the service at MB of Sacramento was lacking if anything was done at all! The Mercedes Indy shop fixed my S550 issues for less than MB of Sacramento bait and switch quote. Our S550 needed the Sunroof and front Drains un clogged which MB of Sacramento said they did all but ONE! The Mercedes Indy shop explained and showed me what and where the issues were with my S550,how they fixed it, the Mercedes Indy shop Washed my S550 and the Mercedes Indy Service Rep even took cell pictures to prove MB of Sacramento didn't fix my issues!! I will Reach out to MB of Sacramento with this Update as well! More

How about when you schedule service, including an oil change, and then when you pick it up -- not before -- they say "oh, we didn't have an oil filter; you can get that next time." That's so ridiculous it's hard to believe, but that's what happened and what I was told. This most recent visit was to have a tailpipe dent repaired on our 2019 Winnebago Era motorhome (on a 2017 Sprinter chassis). I called ahead and spoke to some young woman to be sure they could do the work. She assured me that it would be no problem at all. I took the vehicle in, described the situation and was assured again, by another young woman, that there would be no problem. A day went by. I called and asked what was happening. Young woman #2 said "we can't work on that exhaust because it's after-market. You can take it to someone else who can fix it." Now there's a really useful piece of advice. So I wasted a day, not to mention the hassle of taking the RV in and then having to get a ride back to pick it up. I won't be going back to this dealership. Too bad they appear to be spending a heck of a lot of money on a shiny new building, when maybe they should be training their staff a little better. More
