My last two experiences with Van Housen have been poor I am a Smart Car owner and I have been having trying to resolve a service problem since July of 2017. I have taken my car in twice (July & October) an I am a Smart Car owner and I have been having trying to resolve a service problem since July of 2017. I have taken my car in twice (July & October) and it is now February 2018 with no resolve. I sent emails and tried to contact the Service manager by phone with no response. It seems this dealer does not value a Smart car customer. If you notice their vehicle brand drop down menu every single model is capitalized, EXCEPT the Smart! I am frustrated. Gil Esquer More

Recent repair visit I appreciate that when the vehicle was in to have a shock replaced that they also fixed a "oil leak " from one of the heads on the engine BUT I had to I appreciate that when the vehicle was in to have a shock replaced that they also fixed a "oil leak " from one of the heads on the engine BUT I had to ask to speak with Jon to get this feedback. The vehicle is a 2010 but the engine is not even 3 years old and threw a rod right after the engine was replaced at Mercedes request to replace it and NOW a head leak!!!! My extended warrantly I purchased for several thousand dollars on a Certified pre-owned vehicle will end within the year and I am concerned that I will continue to have issues with this New engine. I was also concerned when I ask Jon what work was actually done and was told about the engine oil leak, which don't get me wrong I am grateful it was identified and fixed but Jon blew it off as this sometimes happens. Since this vehicle had been in the shop just a few months before and with the newer engine I don't really believe that things just happen. I feel like someone is not really doing their job either in inspecting the vehicle or with the repairs. I would greatly appreciate true feedback on how this is going to be addressed with my extended warranty coming to an end soon. Are the engine problems going to be addressed on an extended basis or am I just stuck and should start looking somewhere else for service and a different vehicle ???? More

Excellent customer service from Jon! I recommend Jon to my friends and family when they are looking for service because of his knowledge, attentiveness, honesty and customer service. Aft I recommend Jon to my friends and family when they are looking for service because of his knowledge, attentiveness, honesty and customer service. After a long and hectic week at work, the last place I wanted to be was at the service desk at a dealership, but Jon made the process simple, telling me what was needing to be done and what he would recommend in regard to additional services.
