Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota had the exact car I wanted. I was ready to buy and had an approved draft from a very reputable credit union in the area with a rate of 5.5%, The Manager even stated that the he I was ready to buy and had an approved draft from a very reputable credit union in the area with a rate of 5.5%, The Manager even stated that the he had used the credit union for financing in the past. However, Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota wouldn't take the approved draft because it was from a credit union. They offered a slightly discounted price and a rate of 7.1 %. I left and didn't buy the car. Because I really liked the car, the next day I found a way to personally finance the Vehicle figuring that I can refinance the vehicle within a week. I just left the DMV for the second time in a week. The DMV told me that it may take up to 6 months or longer to release the title and refinance because of errors the dealer make in submitting and resubmitting the title paper work. More

I had a very disappointing experience at Mercedes- Benz of Sarasota, Florida. From the beginning the communication was poor and promises were not followed through. When I raised my concerns, they were not addressed in a professional or respectful manner. This left me feeling that customer service is not a priority here. Through the years my husband and I leased and purchased several cars from this dealership. I am leasing a car from Mercedes Benz of tampa. They have been accommodating, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. When I asked my service person in Mercedes Benz of Sarasota, she told me that they would charge $100.00 to help load my remotes to my gate and garage, because I didn’t lease the car from them. It’s not the money, it’s the principal. More
