Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota is a very nicely dealership in every sense of the meaning. The interior areas and rest rooms are clean and waiting area was comfortable with a friendly ambience. We brought our Mercedes GLK-350 in for a cost estimate, because the transmission oil cooling loop in the radiator developed a leak in the radiator (caused by material failure) and cross- contaminated the transmission oil with engine coolant. That event totaled the Transmission. The vehicle was a 2011, GLK-350 with only 78 thousand miles on the engine. So, it was not cost effective to have the transmission and radiator work done at the dealership. However, in the waiting area the Dealership, provided a great assortment of designer coffees, (K-Cups) teas and cookies. The staff was courteous and polite and professional in every aspect of interaction. Never-the less, we are considering acquiring a Certified, previously Loved, Mercedes-Benz as a second car and will certainly deal with Walter, an esteemed member of their sales staff. More

When they are good they are very good, unfortunately they are not always very good. The sales staff is most attentive and knowledgeable and I have a great relationship with Alfredo Poletti, my sales person, are not always very good. The sales staff is most attentive and knowledgeable and I have a great relationship with Alfredo Poletti, my sales person, who always treats me as a friend. On the other hand the service department fails to perform at the level you would expect from a top of the line dealership. My biggest issue is dropping off the car for service. The drop off area does not have enough lanes or space for all the cars that are coming in, I have found that often I have to wait in line, even though I had an appointment. Then when I'm finally in, and get off the car, you have to wait or hunt for someone to direct you to your rep. Nevertheless, the service and work performed is quality work. I also enjoy been able to sit in the wait area and watching the mechanics work on my vehicle. I've had to bring my car twice for it's annual service and three more times for repairs; keep in mind that I've had the car for little more than two years and has 8,000 miles. This last visit was the best so far, and Shawn, my service rep was the best that I've encountered. For the first time, on this visit I received a video, where the mechanic explained his work (very impressive). Needless, to say I expected more from owning a Mercedes. More
