I've always been a bit underwhelmed by the level of service and communications there, but my latest experience took the cake. My car was mis-firing so I took it in on a Tuesday morning. At the end of the day, I was told they needed to have the parts shipped in to repair it, which would take three days. That would mean the parts should arrive should on Friday. Okay. I was also told the repairs would take ~8 hours. I was told I would be notified when the parts came in, when the work started, when work was completed, etc., in other words I would receive timely status updates. I didn't receive a single timely status update at any point. Indeed, on Friday, I heard nothing from them at all; even after requesting an update. On Saturday morning at around 9:30 they let me know that not only had the parts come in, but that my car been repaired! That was theoretically good news, but also representative of a complete lack of communications. The next step was merely a test drive. So, I waited and waited to here that a successful test drive had been completed. Six hours later, when I was unfortunately not in a position to pick up my car, I was notified that the test drive was successful. They're not open on Sundays, so I had to wait until Monday to get my car. I picked up my car successfully. It does seem to have been repaired. However, because I was in a hurry when I picked up the car, I didn't notice until later that my bill was several hundred dollars more than estimated. Perusing the bill, I noticed that the projected repairs were indeed as estimated, but they had unilaterally replaced my battery without my knowledge, consent, or even an explanation! WTH? More

Service was able to get me in for a battery which was good. I know there was labor involved for installing battery but $40.00 for misc materials seems a bit much for changing a battery.
