Took car in for B service. They performed A service. I agreed to have brake pads added to service. Picked car up and that hadn’t been done even though service advisor said it would be. After 9 days there with no updates and 4 unreturned calls I picked up my car. Waited around to pay my $4200 bill. Lots of service people but no service. All ignored. Finally paid and drove 100 feet and warning lights came on with a burned out front running late. I drove right across the street and bought a new Range Rover Sport and fold them my car. After 54 cars and many Mercedes I’m done with AutoNation and the horrible service. More

My 3rd MBs over a period of 60 years. I am a stickler for servicing my cars on time. My 1st service experience with Sarasota was my worst ever $$$$$. Having been told that my car (with 45,000 miles) was in e servicing my cars on time. My 1st service experience with Sarasota was my worst ever $$$$$. Having been told that my car (with 45,000 miles) was in excellent condition I was then told that the windshield wiper pump was bad (it has been working that morning) and would cost $426.83. Then the Tensior, v-Belt was loose and if I didn't change it the car would not run. Cost:$1,007.In the end I paid $1,913.29 for this A1 service.I am not auto savy, just a trusting customer. No longer trusting Sarasota. More

A bunch of crooks. I weren't to purchase my c300 after I paid off 45 months out of 48, after the salesman told me there was no pre-payment penalty. First, they tried to rip me off on the loan, charging me 5.5 %. So I left went home and got my own loan on the Internet from Bank of America for 3.49%. I went back the next day, worked out all the details, and then at the last minute, the salesman told me I had to write out an additional personal check for $1200 to Mercedes Benz Financial. He was vague about the reason; he just said "They say you owe them the money." And then he showed me a printout showing that I owed the money to Mercedes Benz Financial. An assistant manager came over and also said, "You owe them the money." So, I walked out again and called Mercedes Benz Financial. They told me they didn't know what the salesman was talking about. I did not owe an additional $1200." This is larceny; plain and simple. People go to jail for less. I don't know how the parent company of Mercedes Benz International lets their employees get away with something like this. I guess the people in Sarasota including the manager, figure that the people in Sarasota are old and senile and will agree to anything to buy a Benz. But not me. I made a complaint to the parent company over the phone. And I will go to another Mercedes Benz to purchase my leased car. More
