Love my Airstream Interstate thanks to Prime Motor Cars Bought a very-low-mileage, but out-of-warranty 2012 Airstream Interstate from a New Jersey RV dealership two weeks ago and took it out for a shakedown Bought a very-low-mileage, but out-of-warranty 2012 Airstream Interstate from a New Jersey RV dealership two weeks ago and took it out for a shakedown. Found some problems on the Airstream side (house-batteries, macerator pump, outdated-tires) and got a Check Engine Light on the Mercedes side. Losing confidence in my purchase, I wanted to get these varied problems fixed at one place close to home so I could get some reassuring hand-holding, There, just up the road, was Prime Motor Cars. Tony Fannell, the Service Advisor, understood immediately that I wanted my known problems solved, but wanted also to discover what problems caused by disuse might be around the corner long before my first scheduled maintenance. His plan was reassuring, as was his oversight and follow-up. And Mitch Tusing (Prime’s Airstream-certified tech) got things sorted in a cautious way. I’m again glad of my purchase. Indeed, Mitch said I had a winner. Prime’s work, costly though it was, has allowed me to pass my state inspection, Tomorrow, I’ll winterize ahead of sub-freezing temps this coming Friday. More
