He scheduled an appointment for me that was convenient and reserved a loaner vehicle to use while my vehicle was being repaired. The technicians diagnosed the problem, Rob ordered the parts necessary to repair my vehicle and when I picked up the car it was washed and running like a Mercedes should run. I have always trusted Rob and his team to provide professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service. I know my my Mercedes are in good hands when I call Rob. More

EXTREMELY LOW QUALITY SERVICE for Mercedes Benz If I could give zero stars, I would. Because service here was AWFUL. My GLE 2016 had a creaking noise coming from the inside (I had assumed my window If I could give zero stars, I would. Because service here was AWFUL. My GLE 2016 had a creaking noise coming from the inside (I had assumed my windows) not long after I bought the car from them. I brought the car in FOUR TIMES for service, specifically asking them to figure out what it was and to fix it. Each time I brought it in, they kept it for 5 days to a week. And each time they told me it was "fixed" and "ready", it WAS NOT. One of the four times, they told me that the noise was NORMAL. Another time, they told me they have never heard such noise before. But then, would tell me, "oh it's nothing unusual... The car would naturally make noises just because it is an SUV". Each time they "fixed" my car, something else would fall apart. My driver's side door knob did not sit properly after the first times they inspected the noise. My door panel LITERALLY FELL OFF. I took it in yet again.. they said they would fix it right away. I waited for 5 minutes, they came back out and said, "your car is ready!" The minute I got in my car, the whole door panel CAME OFF! I thought this was some kind of a joke they were pulling on me. The door panel stayed in longer when I myself pushed it back in. I complained to the service manager. Again, nothing was fixed. Went over to my sales person, who sent me to the used car sales manager, who told me they would now schedule to bring in an informant to inspect the car. Since they themselves could not fix it. Asked them how soon, they said they had NO IDEA. LOL. A couple weeks? Maybe? Waited a couple weeks, still nothing. They would never call to update on the progress of the car in service. I would always have to reach out to find out if it was ready or not. They would say "we'll keep you updated". TEN DAYS later, still no update. Emailed them. Completely irresponsive. Which forced me to walk through doors just to find out what is going on. I then went straight to the GENERAL MANAGER. He told me that he would look into it and only then the appointment was scheduled the very next day. I don't actually know if an informant even came in because I never met him. Supposedly he also said he didn't hear anything abnormal. Any of my passengers sitting in my car would say that it was an annoying sound. They apparently lubricated all the window seals. Survived for two days. And back to its regular creaking... I was done at this point with Smithtown. I took it in to Mercedes Huntington, a week later everything that was broken and what Smithtown broke, were fixed! The minute the informant at Huntington opened the doors, he knew what was wrong right away! And said, he has heard noises like this before. New parts were ordered. They were informative, clear, concise---straight to the point. NEVER GOING BACK TO SMITHTOWN. Thanks but no thanks. More
Service is tops! This is my third Mercedes Benz lease. Anytime I have had a mechanical issue, Joe Baumgarten my service advisor would come to the rescue! Our service advisor, Joe Baumgarten is exceptional/outstanding and always goes out of his way with all service and repair needs, whether since 2003. 1 yr service /low tire pressure Joe was great ...explained cost and time approx that service would take showed me to waiting area .... An hour later I was informed that my tire had a nail in it and would have to be replaced, as a didn’t expect to be leaving my car joe explained that the tire had to be ordered and would be in later in day...i cant understand why they didn’t have tires already available. My car wasn’t ready till next day. Joe was kind enough to get me an Uber home, but would of liked a loaner ..as now i had no car... As i said no fault of joe his service was terrific,just think for such a big dealer tires should not have to be ordered. More
