Service not Acceptable Initially loved dealer and salesman, but this past summer had an issue with the ac on a 2013 E350, Serious odor when car started, Took in for servi Initially loved dealer and salesman, but this past summer had an issue with the ac on a 2013 E350, Serious odor when car started, Took in for service and was told not covered under warranty and car had less than 40k miles and was less than 3 years old.....thought it was ridiculous and was upset because I was less than 5 months until leases was up. I made a stink and they agreed to fix at no charge, so I brought in and the kept car a full day and "fixed" it. Three days later the car smelled again and I called service to complain and was told they only sprayed freshener in vents because too costly to fix. Made another fuss and they finally said would do repair, but at that point I just wanted a new car and lease and said I would rather a new car and let's make a deal....well, that did not happen and calls to arrange test drives and set appointment to get into new car went in answered....so in the end, the service department blew the deal of a new lease and I decided to end relationship with Mercedes and went to Lexus, where service has been first class....sad to be treated with such disrespect from Mecedes, I really expected so much more......salesman was great, but service blew any future deals. More
