James Newkirk made buying a car easy. Not pushy at all, and wasn't a time waster either. We live an hour away and my husband wasn't with my daughter and I because we actually drove down to get her car ser and wasn't a time waster either. My car was brought in due to the daytime running lights on left & right not working properly. I replaced the left one in 2018 because it was broken by something in the road. When I received it back. I noticed you could push the left one in and when you let go it’ll pop back out. So I called my service rep which was Billy at the time. I explained to him what was happening. He asked if the light works I said yes. He said it’s fine we put a new LED light in there so you’re fine, not to worry. So I didn’t until here recently the messages started popping up on my dash to check left and right daytime running light and they would also work sometimes and sometimes it wouldn’t. I took it to my local repair shop to see if it was the bulbs. The tech there looked at the lights and showed me the left light going in & out and said it shouldn’t be like that and showed me the condensation on the inside of the light. He stated he bet moisture is getting in there. I called MB told my service rep Greg what was going on and it was not put in correctly when it was replaced in 2018. Y’all came got my car. I was told that the part that holds the light in was broken the reason you could push the light in and that they only replaced the bezel in 2018 not the light and I know the light was replaced because the light was broken. So I don’t know what happen with that but I paid $633.17 to replace both lights and Greg told me the lights was fixed that I will just need to hit ok twice when the light message pops up on the dash but the lights are working. I asked why the messages is still popping up. He stated they couldn’t get a code as to why but if they continue to replace stuff it could get expensive. I got my car back and every time I start my car the light message pops up for both lights. I remember I had replaced some controls earlier this year. So I called MB and spoke to Carlos told him what was going on. He stated he would get with the service guys and see what they say and he would call me back. I never received that call back. I messaged Greg Monday and told him the lights are still not working. He called apologized and asked if I had the lights enabled, I said yes. He stated he would give my info to the girls so they could call me and schedule a time to get my car back in. Today is Wednesday, I haven’t received that call as of yet! Now that the lights are doing the same as before makes me think it wasn’t even the lights I paid to be replaced! I also asked them to check the tires while it was there, because I recently brought two new back tires from y’all they keeps losing pressure. I was told all the tires are fine and they put some more air in there but when I got it back the pressure was still low. More
Mike was extremely nice and helpful. However when my car was delivered to me it was filthy on the outside. Left under trees and covered with Droppings. Additionally, this car is kept in closed garage .. and only 20k miles. More
