Other than the part coming in two days later then expected your staff was very professional, helpful efficient. I was disappointed with my recent service visit(s). I recently purchased this vehicle from a family member, and brought it into the dealership to have an alignment, a service, oil change, and to have the recently purchased this vehicle from a family member, and brought it into the dealership to have an alignment, a service, oil change, and to have the top evaluated, because it would not retract. The difference between an A service and a B service was not well explained to me (first Mercedes I’ve ever owned), but bottom line I requested that all fluid levels be checked and filled. I left the car at the dealership for this to be done. I, then, received a call from service advising of the cost to complete the requested work, and I requested that the alignment, the service, and the oil change be done. Additionally, I was advised that there was a brake problem which was covered under warranty. I also requested that particular work be completed. The cost of this work was over $600. After the work was completed, I paid for the work, and drove the vehicle home. While making the payment for the work completed, I asked to review the paperwork, and the lady told me I could not review all of the paperwork... only part of it, which seems ridiculous to me. She then called another sales/service person to the desk who was very polite and helpful, and walked through the paperwork with me. However, there was no paperwork provided regarding the brake issue. I requested that paperwork, and it was promptly emailed to me by a different gentleman who was also very polite and helpful. On the way home, I attempted to clean the windshield with the windshield cleaner, and realized that the windshield cleaner tank was empty. When I arrived home, I moved the driver seat forward, and saw two unsmoked cigarettes (no one in my family smokes) along with a dirty, waded up paper towel in the floor board behind the drivers seat. I then called Mike Rhea (the service person I left the car with) to advise him of these things who acted as if I was not telling him the truth, and said “we don’t smoke in the cars.” Note: I did not tell him someone had smoked in my car. In any event, I cleaned the trash out of the car, and asked Mr. Rhea if I could bring the car back in for them to fill up the washer fluid tank, and he asked that it be brought back in the next day. The next day, I brought it back in and waited while he took it back to be filled up. I remained in the dealership the whole time during this visit. After a considerable wait, I got up from the chair in the waiting area and noticed the car was parked under the awning. Mike Rhea was nowhere to be found. Another service/sales person asked if I was waiting on Mr. Rhea, and I responded that I was. He advised that he would go look for him. A few minutes later that service/sales gentlemen returned to tell me that he didn’t want to interrupt Mr. Rhea, because he was finishing up his food truck lunch, but told me I could go ahead and take the car. I asked him to have Mr. Rhea call me if there was a leak or other problem with the cleaner fluid tank, and I left. On the way home, I attempted to clean the windshield, and it worked. I never received a call from Mr. Rhea. Rather, I called him a few days later, and he advised me that he filled up the fluid cleaner tank, and that it was leaking so bad, that he could see the fluid dropping as he was filling it up. Now, to have that issue looked at, he requested that I bring the car in a third time, so he could determine whether it was a plug, the tank, or something else causing the leak. I’m disappointed with the need for multiple visits, the fact that the washer fluid tank wasn’t filled in the first place, the fact that the washer fluid tank issue was not identified during the original service visit, the fact that there was trash left in my car, the fact that the lady who took my payment acted as if I needed an Act of Congress to be allowed to review the paperwork related to the service work completed, and the fact that Mr. Rhea acted as if I was being truthful with him about the trash left in my car. The person that actually did the work was excellent took care of my car and did a great job! However the person at front counter really didn’t want to help me, didn’t want to provide service to the smart ca care of my car and did a great job! Told me to go on you tube to figure out how to reset my ignition light for maintenance :-( he needs to be in back and not in front. More
