George Kalish was friendly and professional and the staff was as well. The review score is for the fact that this is the third AC compressor for a 2019 model car which has less than 30K miles on it. This one was as well. The review score is for the fact that this is the third AC compressor for a 2019 model car which has less than 30K miles on it. This one lasted less than 10K miles! I bought 2 of these model GLC's, both which have less than 30K miles on them, and this is the fifth compressor!!!! Both were replaced once under the original warranty. (The warranty for this repair is 24 months, we were well inside that since the last replacement but it was explained that once the car's 48 month warranty expires the 2 year warranty for the compressor replaced under that warranty doesn't apply.) They are obviously defective. Nothing we would do driving the car should cause a compressor failure every 10K miles. The quote to replace it was $4,400! I pushed back and they reduced it to $2,200. This must be happening with other models and Mercedes Benz isn't making it right. I was told that if MB decided it was their fault I could get my money back: I'm not holding my breath. I'm retired and can't afford $2,200, much less $4,400, for both cars every 10K miles so if it happens again and I have to pay for it I'll be forced to sell them both and the replacement obviously won't be a Mercedes. Buyer beware. More
