My experience buying my First ever Mercedes @ Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington was truly amazing. Right from the time I did an internet search till the time I drove the vehicle out as an owner! Bill, Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington was truly amazing. Right from the time I did an internet search till the time I drove the vehicle out as an owner! Bill, Scott, Richard and Dave Busby all treated me very well and I felt I was part of the family! It has been my desire and dream since I was a child to own a mercedes and you guys are now part of fulfiling that dream for me. All of you were very prompt in your responses, very personable, knowledgeable and most importantly engaged me very well. I clearly found this missing and lacking in other dealership companies I went to. Thank god, I found you guys! Like it is commonly said, customer experience is the next competitive battleground, and I believe you guys know your customers well. I am a banker myself and work with internal and external customers, I understand every great business is built on friendship. You guys gave me a great experience, and like I said to Rick in my email, rest assured I will direct my friends and family members who want to own a mercedes or any used car to your dealership. For several months searching for the right GLK 250. Visited other MB dealers closer to home and one of them low balled my trade then 45 seconds later increased the trade by 2k. I knew then then - dealership was playing a haggle numbers game. Discovered they didn't even have a GLK 250 close to my option list. Finally I discovered online a Benz very close to my wish list at MB of Wilmington. Everything was negotiated via internet sales with Scott Zelinski including additional OEM dealer installed options .I used a hypothetical trade in value based on NADA pricing. I picked the value knowing it may change or kill the deal at appraisal time. After less than 6 cumulative email exchanges we had a deal. Next day brought the trade in, and met my floor salesman. Eric gave my wife and I an informative test drive in our soon to be GLK 250. Eric explained the process, answered all our new questions. The trade number did not change. While paperwork was being complied we were introduced to representatives in Parts, Maintenance, and 5oaner sections of the dealership. Drove home in our GLK within hours of arrival. Eric kept in contact with us arranging for installation of additional options in the deal. Any questions we had about our Benz controls, and new features Eric easily explained. Professional followup. In my opinion MB of Wilmington is a fair no BS dealership. Definitely worth the extra distance from Pennsylvania while passing by others. More

Starting with Bill and Marcia, who helped me with the price decision and options of the car, and then EJ with the actual car sale, the entire purchasing experience was rewarding and very "cool" at this d price decision and options of the car, and then EJ with the actual car sale, the entire purchasing experience was rewarding and very "cool" at this dealership. Dave in Finance, also was very easy to deal with and there was no pressure of purchasing extended warranties, etc from this dealership. I believe that since I had done my homework, the entire crew that I dealt with at this dealership, wanted me as "their" customer. The BMW trade was also smooth with no questions asked. I had driven over 90 miles from NJ to this dealership since I felt that it was the best deal and the folks seemed eager to sell. I would recommend this dealership to all "new" potential customers that are looking for a MB car. Thanks to all at this dealership. Keep up the good work!! More
I brought my car in here and they recommended about $2,000 worth of work be done. I had a $250 part installed instead of the $2000 worth of work they recommended and now my car runs fine. They also never go out of their way to accommodate you. It is always like pulling teeth to find out what they can do for you. I've never once heard them say - "What can we do to accommodate you so that we can get your car in here and take a look at it?" It seems like it is always a fight/struggle when dealing with them. I had better customer service from dealerships of inexpensive cars I've owned over the years. More
My wife and I bought a certified pre-owned GLK with 26k miles here last month. This Dealer had the best price posted online for the fully loaded options I wanted than any other Dealer in PA, NJ or DE. I w miles here last month. I am a PA resident trading in my wife's BMW registered in RI to purchase a car in DE needing PA plates and title. The Dealer did all the paperwork and computed the various state fees and credits. I received the PA plates in the mail about 4 weeks later. Very smooth. No hassle. Dru was very helpful as the salesperson. We test drove two vehicles. My only minor complaint concerned the initial trade-in value offer. They offered me about $650 less than Kelly's Blue Book's low end value. However, we negotiated a more equitable trade-in amount after I suggested using Kelly's Blue Book as a source of value. I paid in full so I cannot comment on the financnig process. I purchased an extended warranty which was explained well but the price was a bit on the high side of reasonable but that's a Mercedes issue, not a dealer issue. More

Meeting Marlin, however, has given me a new perspective, so as long as he is there, I will continue doing business at the Wilmington Office. Thank you Marlin! More
The service department at this dealership is a nightmare. They never call you to let you know your car is finished and a lot of the time the amounts on the bill are incorrect. They just ask for your credit card. I brought my car in to have a minor repair made. I told them exactly what needed to be done. They did not make the repair and told me that the entire mechanism had to be replaced for a cost of $700. It only needed a minor part and not the entire mechanism replaced. I had to pick up my car without the work being performed. I replaced the part myself for a cost of around $6.00. They also do not review your vehicle history before you bring your car in and they end up recommending work be performed that has already been done on your car. It is unbelievable that the service is this poor at a Benz dealership. More
I was very disappointed with the follow up. I visited about a year ago, with a very specific car/options in mind. Was helped by Marlin who seemed very informed and engaged. He introduced me to Marcia and I left feeling like we were off to a good start. Never heard back. Left messages that weren't returned, and finally called Marcia and left her a message. She didn't call me back either (mistake), but apparently she gigged Marlin who did. Seemed to have very little recollection of what I wanted so he took my info again. Again, no follow up. When I called him back again, he was talking about cars that did not match what I wanted. Was frankly shocked by the cavalier attitude towards a customer ready to drop over 70 grand for a new car. Went to Lynne Knox at West Chester who could not have done a better job! She found the car I wanted and had it shipped to her dealership with no committment on my part. We closed the deal a week later. Just found this sight as I'm scheduling my first service and was looking for feedback. More
