At the time of your appointment, our team began diagnosing both the tailgate concern and the recall. During that process, a discrepancy was noted, which is why it was brought to your attention. Our intention was not to accuse, but to communicate what was observed so we could properly determine warranty eligibility. It’s also important to note that you elected to take the truck with you the same day, as you advised our team you needed it for an out-of-town trip. You mentioned you would return the following Tuesday so we could continue the diagnostic and complete the necessary repairs. Unfortunately, the vehicle was not brought back, which prevented us from moving forward or fully resolving the concern. Regarding the Uber reimbursement, you had indicated you would be providing a receipt so we could process it, but we have not received that documentation to date. We also want to emphasize that during our conversation, we acknowledged and appreciated your history with us and the multiple vehicles you’ve purchased over the years. Our goal was, and continues to be, to ensure that one experience does not outweigh the positive relationship we’ve built. We remain more than willing to assist you. If you would still like us to address the tailgate concern, please contact us directly so we can schedule a time to properly inspect and resolve the issue. Thank you.
