This is my second F150 from Metro Ford. They delivered again with a fantastic truck. Lee was helpful and great start to finish, so easy to work with. Michael helped make all the numbers work. Vehicle exhibiting symptoms of lifter failure daily. Left with service department for several weeks. They were finally able to “replicate” the symptom, but stated it was normal. Sorry, but a 5L gas engine sh with service department for several weeks. They were finally able to “replicate” the symptom, but stated it was normal. Sorry, but a 5L gas engine shouldn’t sound like an old diesel. Even if sporadically. More
We had a good experience with Brian and Michael. However we are very upset with fact that the so-called Metro Advantage was a mandatory $2000 adder even if it was a service we would not use. I equate that t we are very upset with fact that the so-called Metro Advantage was a mandatory $2000 adder even if it was a service we would not use. I equate that to surprise Billing for medical. I asked specifically about additional cost adders above the internet price and was told that the only additional cost was the $500 processing fee. There was also no mention of this cost on the autotrader website, just that the Metro advantage came with the purchase of the vehicular. The natural assumption being that it was a no cost benefit for doing business with the dealership. So uwhen I was told that the about the fee we were flabbergasted and were ready to walk out the door and lodge a complaint with the better business bureau. Brian was able to address some of the cost otherwise that is what we would have done. (Might still do that) In addition when we got the truck home we found pieces of glass from the rear window behind the seat, and the tire jack kit was missing as well as the tail gate removal kit. Both of these missing items should have been flagged at the time of sale. More
This was the worst experience that I have ever had at any service department. I will never return to Metro and have been very vocal to people I know to let them know my experience and they have now decided service department. I will never return to Metro and have been very vocal to people I know to let them know my experience and they have now decided to never return as well. My vehicle sat in their parking lot for two and a half weeks before they even looked at it and then my service quote was over $9,000. I was able to get the work done at another place for around $2,800! Metro said I needed to replace parts that had been replaced within the last 6 months. I don't know if they just have the general attitude to just replace the entire system (i.e. the front end or DEF system) but they certainly didn't spend any time trying to figure out what exactly needed to be replaced. I am certain that if I took it in to get the oil changed they would just tell me I needed to put in a new engine just because that is they way they do things. Seems the common attitude is "replace it all"!!! I will continue to tell people about my experience and will never even give Metro a second glance the next time that I need to buy a new vehicle or need service work. More
