I bought a platinum warranty for at least 4K when I bought my car and when I come in for my free oil change, I am recommended a thousand dollars in work for upkeep. I brought my truck in last week to have a few issues serviced. I was charged $290 just to have the problems diagnosed. Beck's Garage performed the exact same diagnostics and caught every issue that Ford serviced. I was charged $290 just to have the problems diagnosed. Beck's Garage performed the exact same diagnostics and caught every issue that Ford did for FREE. While my truck was at Metro Ford, I requested a quote for the trade-in value of my truck. The sales manager offered $500 for my 2013 F-150 King Ranch. I was incredibly insulted and had to take a moment to make sure it wasn't a joke. I can't even buy a bicycle for $500, let alone a King Ranch truck. Because I was faced with a pricey repair (nothing that would cause them to value my truck thousands of dollars below its actual market rate), I feel that Metro Ford viewed me as desperate and ignorant and attempted to take advantage of me. Thankfully, I am neither of those things. I took my truck to get repaired elsewhere and will never give Metro my business again. I attempted to reach out to customer service and the General Manager in order to give them the opportunity to apologize and explain themselves before I decided to post a public review, however, I received no response. Oddly enough though, I am still receiving cold calls and emails several times a week despite requesting to be removed from their call lists. Lastly, the service department should be made aware that their offices are NOT sound proof. While I was sitting in the lobby, one of Metro Ford's employees was on a personal phone call and made several homophobic comments towards the person on the other line. I was astonished at the unprofessionalism that I was faced with at Metro Ford of OKC. More
