My experience was good. I did say that I did not want my trade in value to be added to the new truck. This got lost in translation and did not make it to the finance. We've bought many vehicles in our lifetime, and we just bought a 2019 F250 XLT from this place and it was a very good experience. The thing with dealerships is that the final deal needs to be fair. Sometimes I think consumers forget that ALL businesses are in business to make money, they have to in order to pay their employees and offer good service. From the moment we contacted Metro Ford in OKC, they were on top of everything. Our sales person, Chris, was outstanding. He listened to our concerns and presented our offer to his manager who accepted it. We did have a solid trade-in which had a clear title and they offered almost as much as a competitor. In the past, we've often paid cash for our new vehicles. This time, we were open to financing. Then, why did we choose this dealership? First, without going into detail, the sales person, Chris, was outstanding. Second, the finance office had a better deal for us than if we went though our own bank (USAA). Finance even came back with a rate one point lower, after my wife questioned the first offer. Third, the truck was clean. Another large dealership we almost bought from had a great truck, but it was absolutely dirty. It didn't even seem like they took much time or care into preparing the vehicle for sale. The bottom line is that Metro Ford in OKC treated us fairly, and in the end, we are very happy and they made money. I think sometimes consumers go into dealerships with crazy preconceptions without putting any skin in the game. If you come into a dealership already pre-approved, it is still in your best interest to see what the dealer can offer. MANY times they can get better financing. As a Ford truck guy, I definitely do business with Metro Ford in OKC again, and hope to refer people to Chris. Great job, Metro. More
