I have a Toyota and a Honda. The service that I have got from the Toyota service across the street has been exceptional. The Metro Honda service however is a different story. I have spent $4K with them in from the Toyota service across the street has been exceptional. The Metro Honda service however is a different story. I have spent $4K with them in the last one year so fair to say I have been an "enagaged" customer. The car in question here is a 2007 Honda Civic with only 30K miles - YES, that's right, only 30K miles on it. Every time I have gone for an oil change, they have highlighted one problem or the other and fleeced me out of money (Of course I have been gullible enough to allow them make a fool out of me as well). Now, the main reason for this review is that I started having problems with my car starting up. A year ago, Metro Honda had advised me that the current battery in the car was pretty close to dead and they replaced it with a brand new Honda one. 2 months ago, my car failed to start. I jump started it and ignored it as a one time event given it was winter. Then it failed to start 2 more times. So I decided to take it to my friends at Metro Honda, they advised me that the battery needs to be replaced (Free since it was in warranty but also showed me several other problems. Final bill: $2000). 2 days later, car fails to start again. I get AAA to jump start it and assume that the battery was not fully charged when it was replaced. 1 week later, car fails to start again. So I call up AAA again, jump start the car and take it to Metro Honda. This time they tell me, the battery relay is faulty - Bill: $200. I get the car home and 2 days later, car fails to start again. I request Metro Honda to send someone to jump start the vehicle - which they do - car is back at the service station. This time they keep it for 3 full days, finally tell me they didn't think it was a relay problem last time (So did I pay $200 for nothing?), however they change the relay again (No charge thankfully) and tell me this time its fixed for good (Another thing - I notice that they have put a flyer in the car with a quote to buy my car. Interestingly I have been consistently receiving these buy back offers in the mail for the last few months ). Guess what happens 3 days later - Car fails to start again. Again on a Sunday, I call up Metro Honda and request them if they can send someone to jump start the battery - Service advisory says we are short staffed, cannot do anything and tells me I will need to tow the car in. Well, I have called AAA and now plan on wasting my Sunday with this. Long story short: - All of the advisers are very courteous, no doubt, BUT they have no clue what they are doing. - Could be a bait and switch tactic. Frustrate the customer into believing that their car is no good so that they sell it to them. P.S. - I have also tried to purchase cars from them in the past. PLEASE AVOID THEIR SALES DEPARTMENT at all costs. Totally unreliable and will intimidate you. More

I came to Metro Honda a year ago and purchased my first vehicle, a 2010 Honda Civic LX, and never had a problem with the car. The sales person I had at the time was beyond exceptional, respectful, understa vehicle, a 2010 Honda Civic LX, and never had a problem with the car. The sales person I had at the time was beyond exceptional, respectful, understanding, and above all else professional. So when I decided to trade in my car there was no doubt that I wouldn't go anywhere other than Metro Honda of Jersey City. I was expecting the same service and customer care that I previously received and I was not disappointed. My salesperson Mr. Albaro Rivera was exceptional. Similar to my previous salesperson Mr. Rivera was respectful, understanding, professional, and above all other patient. Prior to trading my 2010 Civic, I came to see Mr. Rivera and told him that I wanted the 2013 Honda Accord, however I was unclear about the different models of the car. Mr. Rivera not only explained the difference between the models but allowed me to physically see the difference. After seeing the different models it was clear that I wanted the 2013 Honda Accord Sport. We then returned to the dealership where we negotiated numbers. After discussing numbers Mr. Rivera came up with a number that I was not satisfied with. I then became discouraged about the car, and lost hopes for getting the car. He then gave me three helpful suggestions of how I could get the car that I wanted. Since my 2010 Honda Civic was still I'm great shape, and had low mileage he suggested I put down a higher down payment or pay a higher monthly fee since I told him I wanted to finance the car not lease it. Ultimately after more negotiations between Mr. Rivera and myself we found a suitable price and I was able to trade in my 2010 Honda Civic LX and get the car that I really wanted, the 2013 Honda Accord Sport. If it wasn't for Mr. Rivera's diligence, professionalism, and patience I'd still be driving a car that my heart wasn't completely set on. Thanks to Mr. Rivera I now drive a car that I absolutely love. I would definitely recommend anyone who is searching for a car whether pre-owned or new to visit Metro Honda of Jersey City you won't be disappointed. My personal recommendation would be Mr. Rivera but any other salesperson would be suitable as they all appear to be polite and professional. More

Metro Honda was close to home and very convenient when choosing my first car. Albaro Rivera was extremely helpful when helping me choose what car was best for me to start my college experience. Mr. Rivera helped pick out the perfect car for me, the 2013 Honda Accord EXL V6. When trying to choose a car, I was very indecisive. However, Mr. Rivera was incredibly patient and informative along the way. He was able to answer all of my questions to the best of his ability and led me to the best car for me. I ended up getting a great deal for this dream car and would certainly recommend this great salesman to friends and family in the future. More

Had a wonderful experience the sales man did everything he could to meet my price an get me in my car. Car was ready same day. Fiancing dept was great process was very quick. When i pickedup the car Marcus was extremely helpful in showiing me all the things the car had to offer and explaining and showiing me how to us everything. My husband who is very hard to please and recently bought a car from Staten Island Honda and is very hard to please was very happy with Metro honda and he said they where very friendly and he wishes he would have gone there for his car. We will definatley recommed this dealership and sales man to anyone looking for a car. More

My wife and I have been in the market for a new car, finally we decided to stop at Metro Honda. Our salesman Sah-Tiekqua Knox was extremely helpful and efficient and made my experience purchasing a new finally we decided to stop at Metro Honda. Our salesman Sah-Tiekqua Knox was extremely helpful and efficient and made my experience purchasing a new vehicle at Metro Honda relaxing and positive. The process was completely transparent and I got the exact car I wanted at a good deal without any surprises. She took the time to discuss and determine the best options and prices to fit my needs. I felt very comfortable with her throughout the whole process, which was absolutely painless and stress free. After the sale I had an issue with license plates and registration not being processed on time due to my fault, my temporary license and registration were about to expire next day AND Sah-Tiekqua Knox delivered them to me PERSONALLY!!! Sah-Tiekqua Knox at Metro Honda succeeded in earning my trust and loyalty, and I look forward to purchasing my next Honda from her, she went above and beyond what is expected in a car salesman.
