Not a comfortable space while the waiting area is under construction. There were no snacks provided during my visit and the waiting area was very crowded. I’ve been dealing with a backup sensor issue with my CX-5. Mazda of Mesquite evaluated it and realized it was a non-factory installation done by Hiley Mazda of Arlington. As such, they suggested that I contact Hiley as the installer. I did so and unfortunately received quite a “run-around” from Hiley Service. They told me that although they had installed Mazda parts when they put in the backup system, those parts are now discontinued. As a result, they couldn’t (wouldn’t?) help me. They offered to look at it but would charge me $200 for the diagnosis. And, no loaner vehicle would be offered over the 2-3 days of diagnosis. I had no other means of transportation. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with Hiley’s willingness to wash their hands of me, especially in light of the fact that I bought 2 vehicles from them. On the other hand, and in sharp contrast to Hiley’s poor customer service, Jose expressed a willingness to listen and to problem solve with me. I had previously taken my CX-5 to Mesquite Mazda for work and was very pleased and impressed with their customer service process, led by Jose. As a result of this positive experience, I called Jose to ask his advice. He listened, empathized, and began problem solving on my behalf. I don’t know the outcome yet of my backup sensor issue, but I think it’s important to note the difference in customer service between these two businesses. Even if Mazda of Mesquite can’t help me directly, I’m confident they will properly refer me to someone who can help. Needless to say, I’m grateful to Jose and Mesquite Mazda for making me feel like a valued customer! Phil Morris More
I schedule an appointment but never get in at or close to that time. The wait is very long and they always find something expensive that needs to be done. I am appreciative that Metro Mazda serviced my car a day earlier than. I scheduled due to my error on my calendar. While my “ back to school” special service was completed, I never saw Isiah until the servi earlier than. I scheduled due to my error on my calendar. While my “ back to school” special service was completed, I never saw Isiah until the service was completed. I had questions regarding my service but I didn’t have a chance to ask them. I had concerns over my console screen suddenly going black, which I mentioned when I came in. There was no discussion over what was diagnosed with this system. The service at this dealership has declined since there was a total change of management. I gave mercy the first 2 visits due to the construction but the service has continued to decline even with the same individuals overseeing my car. I will be looking for a new dealership for future servicing of my Mazda CX -9. More
