We drove onto the lot driving a 1997 pretty much dead car. We keep them until they croak. We were met by Ken Karakula and went home with our FJ Cruiser. We could not be more pleased. He made arrangements for the installation of a brush bar that we wanted. When we picked it up it was perfect. We have since been back for service on the car and the service department was equally efficient. The waiting area is better than most hotels and the staff is helpful and friendly. It even came out from its checkup with a wash job. It dawned on us that maybe the reason we only get a car every 15 years is we hated dealing with dealerships. Ken and the staff at Metro Toyota have changed that. We will continue to drive the 90 mile round trip to have all of the service on the FJ done at Metro Toyota although there are places much closer. By the way there are free cookies in the waiting room!! More

Ken, the second sales person I had, did his very best to erase the first experience I had. I had a sizable down-payment, great credit and a trade-in. I've been a customer of Metro Toyota for many years, probably through six cars. My '01 Highlander which I bought new at Metro, had 278,000 miles and was still in great shape - an excellent testament to probably through six cars. Feeling it was time to start thinking about upgrading, I visited the used car lot and met Tedd Shipp. There was only one used Highlander, a hybrid which didn't suit me. Tedd listened well to my needs and usage patterns and promised to let me know as more became available. Within a week he called and my husband and I went to see the one he'd called about and ended up buying another that had just come on the lot. Tedd answered every question, was always friendly and courteous, and his obvious love for his job makes buying a car very easy.
