After buying/leasing numerous cars over the last 45 years, I feel that this was the single most positive experience I have had. I worked with the Toyota sales rep, Hugh Darwiche. He came across as very friendly, helpful, and honest. When I walked into Toyota, I had no intention to buy, and planned to look at numerous alternatives over several months. However, after my wife and I spent some time with Hugh, I quickly concluded that a new 2011 Toyota Avalon was the perfect fit for me. Hugh was a pleasure to work with prior to, during, and after the purchase. I am particularly appreciative of his assistance with the navigation system technology. This stuff can drive me nuts, but with Hugh's help, it all came together, and I am extremely pleased with the total product. I sense that Hugh is a special person, a truly nice guy. I'm sure he'll keep coming back to Toyota. More

I was in search of a new 2010/2011 Toyota Camry and tried my local Toyota dealer in Kalamazoo, MI. My initial experience in the New Car Sales Dept. was poor. They left me waiting a while. I was then introduc my local Toyota dealer in Kalamazoo, MI. My initial experience in the New Car Sales Dept. was poor. They left me waiting a while. I was then introduced to a used car salesman, who used to sell Subaru's, which I presently owned. Ken Karakula was extremely friendly and Customer Service oriented. I normally do business with Fox Motors in Grand Rapids, MI, due to a specific salesman, but I felt Ken was equal in comparison. While shopping cars, I also shop salesmen. I am in sales and am a determined, get-to-the-point person and Ken was the right salesman for me. He has a great personality and helped me with ALL my Camry questions and if he didn't know, he found out. We had an issue with the Drivers' seat cushion, where something had detached from the inner cushion and started to wear through the fabric. The Service Dept. handled this ok, but I was very disappointed in the gentleman who handles "warranty work". I was told that the seat cover would be replaced, as well as the inner cushion repaired. When I was called to pick up my car, the seat cover still had the wear mark and the Warranty person told me this could not be helped. At my insistence, the Service writer contacted Mr. Karakula to help with this issue and he again, handled this issue in the same professional manner he did when I first met him. ** Sure, I would refer other people to Ken Karakula! Awesome experience with Metro Toyota! I was in search of a 2010 Toyota Corolla and the dealerships in Muskegon and Grand Rapids didn't have the blue I wanted, so I drove 2 hours to see the color and ended u a 2010 Toyota Corolla and the dealerships in Muskegon and Grand Rapids didn't have the blue I wanted, so I drove 2 hours to see the color and ended up buying it. I saw 2 sales people come outside almost immediately, one of which was Dean who I had just spoken to that morning on the phone. He greeted us, I took the car for a test drive, and then decided to do all the paperwork right then and there. It took a long time to set up financing and credit but Dean and Brendon were helping every step of the way until everything was set. Great service! I even received a follow up phone call and email from Dean to make sure I made it home ok and that I was still happy with the car. Out of all the toyota dealerships I visited, I felt that Kalamazoo had the best customer service and I dealt with the best people. Thanks for a great experience! More
