After the purchase of my new Prius, Tedd telephoned me later that day to see how I liked it and make sure I was happy. He has continued to stay in touch to ensure that everything is fine. All the service and sales people are very helpful and willing to answer any questions I might have. The Prius is a new driving experience and took a little getting used to but it is extremely fun. My previous car was a Toyota Rav 4 which was excellent and dependable. My first Toyota was a 1972 Corolla that we drove until the body fell off. First, I should say that I'm the kind of guy who typically leaves reviews when he has a bad experience. I absolutely cannot stand when people in customer service & sales have no interest in being helpful to customers or, worse, when they try to take advantage of customers. That said, I searched the web to find the Certified Used Toyota I wanted. My family has owned 12 Toyotas, and we're loyal Toyota owners, but we have not been pleased with the level of service provided by dealers in our area, NW Indiana. My first contact with Don was via email, and he was kind and helpful from the start through the end of the transaction (& beyond!). We were coming from 2.5 hours away, so Don's willingness to do everything via email and phone was wonderful. Everything was in order when we arrived. They appraised my trade-in while I drove the car, we signed the paperwork, and we were out of there. No scheming or surprises. What a nice change of pace! We'll definitely be coming back. Upon searching Toyota's website after the fact and reading that Metro Toyota has received the President's Award from Toyota, I can't say I was surprised. We went to Toyota for 2 reasons. First being their car ratings and 2nd was our salesman, Ken Karakula. He found the exact van we were looking for in 1 day and they had it ready for us the very next, including adding a a trailer hitch and rust proofing, fabric treatment and paint sealant. This is the third vehicle we have purchased from Ken K. Ken is not pushy and listens to your wants and concerns.
