Our sales person was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. My only negative comment is that we had to pay $524.00 TDA (dealer advertising.) I feel this is very excessive. We were given a spread sheet that showed MSRP/Dealer invoice. The MSRP column showed no TDA and the Dealer invoice showed $524.00 TDA. My previous car was a Toyota Rav 4 which was excellent and dependable. My first Toyota was a 1972 Corolla that we drove until the body fell off. First, I should say that I'm the kind of guy who typically leaves reviews when he has a bad experience. I absolutely cannot stand when people in customer service & sales have no interest in being helpful to customers or, worse, when they try to take advantage of customers. That said, I searched the web to find the Certified Used Toyota I wanted. My family has owned 12 Toyotas, and we're loyal Toyota owners, but we have not been pleased with the level of service provided by dealers in our area, NW Indiana. My first contact with Don was via email, and he was kind and helpful from the start through the end of the transaction (& beyond!). We were coming from 2.5 hours away, so Don's willingness to do everything via email and phone was wonderful. Everything was in order when we arrived. They appraised my trade-in while I drove the car, we signed the paperwork, and we were out of there. No scheming or surprises. What a nice change of pace! We'll definitely be coming back. Upon searching Toyota's website after the fact and reading that Metro Toyota has received the President's Award from Toyota, I can't say I was surprised. We went to Toyota for 2 reasons. First being their car ratings and 2nd was our salesman, Ken Karakula. We had bought a van from Ken at another dealership a number of years ago and were very happy with hi ratings and 2nd was our salesman, Ken Karakula.
