Typical Dealership. I purchased a certified Highlander and on the way home from the dealer notice a chip in the windshield. Contacted the dealer the next morning to be t I purchased a certified Highlander and on the way home from the dealer notice a chip in the windshield. Contacted the dealer the next morning to be told they will only shoot it. In my opinion when purchasing a new or certified car a chip should not be repaired but should be replaced. I understand the dealership can't afford the money to replace it so I will be turning it into my insurance to have replace. Other than that everyone was friendly and did their job as expected. More

I'd been taking my other 4Runner to Metro for service for many years, so I knew the quality of the dealership.I needn't have dreaded buying another car; Bob Kearns made the experience enjoyable, and easy, He also treated me with respect, answering my questions to ME, rather than the friends I'd brought along for reinforcements. Only it wasn't a condo, it was extras. Yes, more fool me, but if I am put into a more-fool-me situation, it makes me not want to go there again. "Buyer beware!" the deal may protest, "it was your choice to purchase or not." My response: don't put me in the position where I have to guard against you. I know we are told this over and over and I don't know how it happened, but I wasted money buying key insurance - if you loose or damage your key you can have it replaced with this policy --- THAT I FOOLISHLY FINANCED and now pay interest on. Hear me? I am paying interest on an insurance policy for keys. I highly recommend you politely decline to purchase (and finance) ANY extra offers of insurance unless you get quotes elsewhere first. Your auto insurance may actually offer it at a lower price. If you do purchase extras, DO NOT INCLUDE THEM IN THE COST OF THE VEHICLE. More
