Lauren, our sales associate, Mr. Connolly who finalized the paper work and the Gen. Manager whose name I forget, couldn't have been more helpful and informative. A great buying experience. I do think the the paper work and the Gen. Manager whose name I forget, couldn't have been more helpful and informative. A great buying experience. I do think there should have been more "choices" on the sales lot, both color and options. More
I went to Herb Connolly Hyundai to purchase my first new car. I was greeted in a very professional manner by Lauren. She helped me decide on the 2009 Elantra, when I thought that I could only afford the Acc car. I was greeted in a very professional manner by Lauren. She helped me decide on the 2009 Elantra, when I thought that I could only afford the Accent! The gentleman, Doug that did my financing was very understanding and made the process so easy. I was very apprehensive to make my first new car purchase and the entire staff at Herb Connolly put me at ease and made me feel so welcome. I love my new Elantra and will be back in a couple years for another new Hyundai. More
Lower control arms were rotted on my 02 Elantra, and the items were not covered under warranty. I had to engage hyundai corporate to get the them to realize this problem should not have happened to a vehicle that less than 10 years old. I appreciate Herb Connoly's cooperation on this issue. The lower control arms were repaired free of charge. This gesture, reinforced my faith in the Hyundai brand. Thanks, jerry More
Wens was extremely knowlegable, friendly, patient (especially w/ my 2 daughters who are quite vocal and assertive), and had a no pressure approach which I appreciated. I had not gone in w/ the initia (especially w/ my 2 daughters who are quite vocal and assertive), and had a no pressure approach which I appreciated. I had not gone in w/ the initial intention of buying a Vera Cruz that day, but Wens and Eric did a great job finding me exactly the car I wanted at a price that beat Toyota and Honda. Adam was very professional and efficient in handeling the financial end. The 3 of them made this a positive experience. Our family loves the car. My husband is happy with his new Sonata which he purchased from them this past August. More

When I finally was able to get it on Tuesday (020309) Brian had me in and out. The previous Friday I had a side front mirror (left side front) installed and again I was in and out. I have a v ery busy schedule and I very much appreciate the quick service! More

My wife and I were treated in a very professional and friendly manner by Shadia Khatib. she went beyond the "call of duty" to ensure that we were treated fairly and that we got the exact car that we wa friendly manner by Shadia Khatib. she went beyond the "call of duty" to ensure that we were treated fairly and that we got the exact car that we wanted within the constraints of our budget. Even though it took us 4 1/2 hours to finalize the deal she never once waivered in her dedication to service. It was a pleasure to work with someone who knows the true meaning of the expression "customer service". More

I was dealing with a dealership, via the internet,on the Auto mile and they kept on telling me that the vehicle with the options I wanted they could not find. We were emailing for about 3 weeks. My wife and I visited this place on the auto mile and stopped in. We talked to a salesman who let us take out a Sante Fe limited. He got in touch with the gentleman that I was emailing with. Lo and Behold they actually found one of the SE that I was looking for. I also mentioned that I liked the Limited. They proceded to try to sell me the limited. They would not even give me a price on the SE. We left. That evening I emailed Herb Connolly Hyundai. They replied the next morning. After exchanging emails I had a price for the Sante Fe Se with the options I wanted and in a color my wife liked that day. I also said that I was impressed with the Limited but was leaning towards the Se. He said that they had a bunch of Limiteds on hand if I wanted to look at them. We set up an appointment with Wens the salesman. I went to see Wens. He took me around and showed me the SE and the Limiteds. I was not sure which one I wanted. He gave me priceing on both that were very competitive. Asked me if I was interested in either one. I told him I had to check with the wife. I called her and we decided on the Limited. We bought the upscale model and did not feel pressured like we did at the dealership on the auto mile. When we went to pick up the vehicle a couple of days later. Everyone was very freindly. Wens spent over an hour showing us every feature on the vehicle. It was a pleasant experience at Herb Connolly Hyundai. More
I've purchased two new Hyundais at Herb Connolly Hyundai in the past 3 years. I brought one of them in for a routine oil change on 6/18/08. Felipe Miranda, the service manager, waited on me and told me I wa in the past 3 years. I brought one of them in for a routine oil change on 6/18/08. Felipe Miranda, the service manager, waited on me and told me I was past my 30,000 mile service (34,442 was on the odometer). And that this was important because my automatic transmission fluid needed to be changed. I told Felipe I thought that was done at 70,000 miles, or more, per the manual. He said it's done at 30,000 miles because I was driving the car under "severe conditions". I asked him how he knew I was driving it at severe conditions and he said all of Massachusetts drivers drive their cars under severe conditions. I asked him what made Massachusetts severe and he said "the cold temperatures" we have here. I asked Felipe where it isn't severe conditions and he said Florida. I asked Felipe if there were any other conditions that determined "severe conditions" and he said he didn't know. He volunteered and gave me the Hyundai phone number and suggested I call them to discuss this with them. I declined the 30,000 mile service until I had a chance to research the "severe condition". Felipe told me my transmission warranty would be void as a result. I followed up on Felipe's passing me off and called Hyundai. The Hyundai rep said "there is no geographical designation for severe conditions. Severe conditions are more a matter of driving habits and distance driven." The Hyundai rep also told me the "severe conditions" are listed in my car manual, and as long as I wasn't using my car normally under those conditions, I would have no warranty problems with the transmission. I do not normally use my car under the "severe conditions" listed in the manual. Obviously Felipe and the Hyundai rep have opposite views of the definition(s) of "severe conditions". The rep is supported by the manual and other Hyundai printed matter. Felipe offered me no support to his opinion. IMO, Felipe was wrong: 1. When he said all Massachusetts drivers come under "severe conditions", 2. Florida doesn't have "severe conditions", 3. Implied severe conditions are designated geographically, 4. That my car is used under severe conditions, 5. That my transmission warranty is now void as a result of not changing it's oil on 6/18/08, 6. That he didn't know the 7 conditions related to transmission severe conditions and review them with me to determine if my car is used under those conditions, 7. Telling me to call Hyundai to learn these conditions, and 8. Telling me a technician looked at the oil on the end of the dip stick and determined it was due for a change (I doubt that's possible, but that's another issue.). IMO, Felipe is either an ignorant Hyundai Service Manager, or, attempting to drum up needless service charges for their customers. I reported my experience in writing to Adam Connolly (I believe the owner). While he didn't justify or critize Felipe's actions, he said he supported him. That leads me to believe Felipe's attempt to perform needless service on my car at my expense is a Herb Connolly company supported action. I would highly recommend avoiding this company for automotive repairs. More
