First time using Michael Hohl Subaru. I brought my 23 Ascent in for an issue with Andriod Auto. There was an firmware update that didn't automatically install. I have the 10 year / 100 I brought my 23 Ascent in for an issue with Andriod Auto. There was an firmware update that didn't automatically install. I have the 10 year / 100,000 mile Gold Subaru Warranty. Due to this they installed the update and now Android Auto is working. I have two issues. 1. I made an appointment but they didn't have an open space for me, Why make an appointment if a spot and time is not held in reserve. 2. The service agent said that my request may not be covered under my extended warranty. The agent never told me if my repair/request was covered. I found out when I received my vehicle and was told that the warranty covered this problem. The Agent should have told me as soon as he found out if this was covered or not as soon as he knew and should not have started the work until finding out. When making the appointment I provided the VIN and the Warranty information. More
