The salesman and entire purchasing experience was great. It was the guy in the finance department that was disappointing. We went in knowing we had excellent credit scores and asked to use our credit union It was the guy in the finance department that was disappointing. We went in knowing we had excellent credit scores and asked to use our credit union knowing they offered a great finance rate. The finance gentleman, Nelson Kwambai, told us that our credit score had nothing to do with getting a good interest rate. He signed us up with another credit union we had never heard of before with an interest rate 1.5% higher than what our credit union was offering. He told us our credit unions rates were higher than the bank he signed us up through. We are not first time car buyers, we are very aware of how credit score and financing work together. We called our bank immediately after leaving the dealership and had our car refinanced at a much lower rate than what was offered to us at Michael’s. We are aware that the salespeople get a “spiff” from using certain banks, but it’s unfortunate that one persons greed cost them our future business. We will never buy from this dealership again and we will make sure to warn others. More

I’ve had quite the experience with Subaru over the years…not in the best way. My relationship with Carter Subaru In Seattle and Walker Subaru in Renton were less than satisfactory in both service and years…not in the best way. I gave it one last try to have my car serviced through Subaru and I went to Michaels in Bellevue. This was a complete 360° to what I’d had in the past. Marcello Orlando and April Acosta couldn’t have been the better team. These two performed the best customer service I’ve ever received from Subaru including the Corporate Office. They both knew my history, had my car brought in the same day, found me a loaner, and had me out by 5 because they knew I was under a time restraint. I felt like both April and Marcello provided an amazing level of service, they both understood their positions, they both made me feel comfortable, and my Subaru sounds the best it’s ever sounded leaving a Subaru lot.
