Here's a little information first, so you'll understand what we were looking for. My Mother is turning 80, but she lives a life of maybe 65! She's driving back and forth from Vancouver, Wa to Kirkland, Wa on a regular basis, besides driving around Vancouver and Portland, OR. Mom is not afraid of bad weather, so I also want her in an AWD vehicle for her safety. Add to this my younger sister is in a wheelchair (motorcycle accident did her in) and Mom needs a car where she can easily load a wheelchair through a hatchback. PLUS, Mom's an artist and teaches art classes all over Washington (lots of stuff). So she needed a vehicle to keep her safe, AWD, hatchback and storage. My preference was a Toyota, but Michaels Toyota also has quite a few Subarus in stock. What ended up working best for us was a one owner 2012 Subaru Outback Premium with 107,000 miles. The car was in the Service department getting work done, but we were able to see it there and test drive a similar model. Our Salesman, Farid Najmolhoda, was fabulous. Seriously, he couldn't have done better by us! He was patient and listened well. Unlike my last Toyota Dealership experience (I bought a 2015 Camry SE), he didn't try to force his personal agenda on us. Instead, he completely listened to our list of needs and concerns, then responded with what would work best to meet those needs. Add in that he was friendly, fun and personable! Mom and I both felt safe that the information he provided was true and accurate. We also worked with Josh Donegan who also took great care of us, and I'd work with him again in a minute. Add in Troy Sansom who is super helpful and friendly, while being professional. I loved the teamwork! Enterprise Rentals also rented Mom a car until her new-to-her would be ready in four days. They made it super easy for her to drive away in a rental car, although the turn in process was veryyyy slow. I drove back up from Vancouver, Wa to Bellevue when Mom's Subaru was ready for pickup. The Service Center had done great work and the car looked, and ran, fabulous! We also had 'sonar' added to the car, so that when Mom backs up in goes 'Beep beep beep..' and the closer she gets to something the faster it beeps. It's a perfect warning signal for her, plus an unexpected bonus was a green light that flashes in time with the 'beeps' and is easily seen at night'. Mom has had the car a little over two weeks and is in love! As for me, I've asked her multiple times if she's SURE she doesn't want to trade it for my Camry... but she insists that she's loves her car and it meets all her needs. Toyota Bellevue exceeded our expectations for a great customer experience! Mom will be returning for oil changes and any other work she needs done, because I have complete faith Farid will continue to look out for her. (The Service Dept did a great job too, but I don't know who to thank or give credit.) Thanks Toyota of Bellevue for bring Troy, Josh and Farid! They made a great team and earned two happy customers!
