We also appreciated the fact that Midlands has a very nice area for the kids to play or watch movies which help occupied the grandsons while we looked at and bought the car. Update: Watch out - this dealer puts vanity plates on and puts three damaging holes in the front bumper without asking if you want it or not. If you take the plate off you have three ugly holes in a brand new car!! I don't think it should be up to me to pay to have this repaired. And when you call the dealership to talk about the problem they don't return your calls. Once you're out the sales door that's the end of you. More

I had done my research on what type of crossover I wanted to buy for 8 months. When I decided the time was right, I visited 3 other Honda dealerships, 1 that was in Columbia, SC, 1 in Charleston, SC and 1 i to buy for 8 months. When I decided the time was right, I visited 3 other Honda dealerships, 1 that was in Columbia, SC, 1 in Charleston, SC and 1 in Charlotte. None of the Sales Agents listented to what I wanted. They were pushy in a slick way. I requested 5 things. I wanted a Honda CRV, it had to be Black, it had to have an auxillary input, alloy wheels and my montly payments had to be under a certain amount. I contacted Midlands Honda and initially spoke with Chris Shuler. When I visited the dealership, I met with Chris Shuler and Chris Nimmons. They were both very friendly and they LISTENED to what I wanted. They didn't use any sales tactics that were slick or annoying. Their Customer Service was excellent. Midland Honda has a very nice atmosphere as soon as you walk in. You are greeted immediately, everyone is beyond pleasant and ready to help. I was given an excellent price which made it easier for me to get a Protection plan which is what I wanted. The CRV actually had more features then I asked for. My overall experience at Midlands Honda was EXCEPTIONAL. I would recommend this delearship to anyone in Columbia. More

Driving from NC to deal with a dealership like this was a wonderful experience. I will do it every time I am in the market for a Honda. Their customer service was beyond excellent and began as soon as I walked in the door. Every single sales person greeted me, even though I already had a sales person I was dealing with. The management team was hands on throughout the process, which was very impressive. This place works like a well-oiled machine. They leave no stone unturned when it comes to service - their prices beat anyone by thousands, unlimited lifetime warranty at no cost to me, photo with my new car, and the opportunity to hit the huge gong in the front lobby once my deal was complete was fun! I received a COMPLETE education session on how my car and technology works, and the follow up was exceptional. I was impressed that Andre came in on his day off to make sure my pick up went smoothly. We had been searching for a car for our sixteen year old. We found a used accord online at Midland's Honda. We spoke personally with their salesman, Dwayne. We asked specific questions about the vehicle including condition of the tires, wear and tear of the vehicle, what problems (cosmetically and mechanically) did it have- in addition to numerous other questions about the vehicle. We agreed on a price, I put down a deposit and I was going to drive to Columbia from Savannah the next day to purchase the car. When I arrived the car he showed me did not look like the car I saw in their advertisement. The car I saw was missing a hubcap, the other hubcap was torn, the pain on the hood was peeling off, there was rust all over the hood, the back of the driver's seat was ripped and the stuffing was coming out. The pictures they had online did not show any of the damage I just listed. When he opened the hood the engine had obvious rust all over it. I was given a ride to Columbia by a friend and then I was going to return to Savannah with this vehicle. I had to call and have my husband drive all the way to Columbia to come and pick me up. This was a case of bait and switch. I spoke to 2 other people at the dealership that day and no one was helpful or even apologetic about their gross misrepresentation of the vehicle. The owner, Greg Nalaweja would not return our phone calls. We had to continuously call until we caught him in the dealership. He has been unprofessional and very rude to deal with on this situation. He did not even answer all of the emails we sent to him. I plan to contact Honda Corporation and the Better Business Bureau to let them know about the unscrupulous practice at Midland's Honda. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. More

I first visited Midlands to "check OFF" a Honda CRV as I did not expect to like it and yet knew it was a solid contender in the smaller SUV field. I was very pleasantly surprised that I DID like the Honda CRV and the options that were provided, etc. I went home to think it over and intended to look at a couple of other small SUVs. I decided quickly that the Honda CRV was what I wanted and called Dwayne and said I was returning. He arranged for me to get an internet quote as this is his domain at Midlands. He quoted me two choices of vehicle and when I returned, we looked closely at these two. I also met with regular salesperson and we discussed leasing a basic CRV. He would have to order the color I wanted. Again, I went home and thought it through. I called Dwayne, returned, and bought a new mid-range SUV. We were returning a leased vehicle and all the paperwork, etc. was easily taken care of. I appreciated Dwayne's help throughout and it was very enjoyable working with him. I was convinced that the price I paid was a fair and low price. More
