I happened to be at Midlands Honda getting my 2010 Accord serviced. I new that the Accord had been updated and wanted to see the new 2013 model. I walked from the service side to the sales side and waited fo serviced. I new that the Accord had been updated and wanted to see the new 2013 model. I walked from the service side to the sales side and waited for an associate. Charlie was the first person to greet me. I didn't intend to buy a new car when I walked in that day, but I ended up leaving with a new Accord. Being a single woman, buying a car alone, I was a little nervous. I am so glad Charlie was my salesperson. I felt very comfortable with him. I believed that he was honest and genuinely concerned. He seemed to be a good person. Although impressions can be wrong, my impression of him was very big factor in my decision to purchase a car that day. Charlie was patient and worked with me. He did whatever I asked and made sure I was 100% satisfied. I don't plan to purchase a new car any time soon, but I would definitely recommend Midlands Honda to friends and family. I'd tell them to ask for Charlie. More

Recently became interested in trading in and purchasing a new vehicle. Charlie greeted me with a smile and eargerness to assist in helping me to understand my options. I had been to several other delearships and felt often rushed or pressured into purchasing a vehicle without such degree of knowlege about the it is that I was actuallly purchasing. Charlie was not just concerned about making "a quick sale" but more about meeting our needs, desires, and realstic perspective about my potential purchase. Although, I did not purchase a vehicle yet, I will consider no other salesman to work with other than Charlie. Professionalis, courteous, knowlegeable, and definately someone who takes the ease off the often indecisiveness in car hunting. More

He makes the customer feel relaxed about the process of buying a car and puts you the customer first. I almost didn't buy from this dealership but Charlie made a courtesy call just as I was closing in a another deal and said "We have your car ready for you to pick up so I wanted to know when you were coming to pick it up". This comment caught my attention and made me take another look at a vehicle I was interested in. Needless to say I offered a price and they accepted and I drove away in a car that I actually wanted and feel I paid a fair price with an awesome warranty. More

Found a low mileage CR-Z on internet and salesperson (Chris Shuler) contacted me within a few hours. Car was waiting when I arrived and finance guy was great to work with (he beat my credit union's rate!). Only wish I could move their service department over here (cool movie room!). More
We have never been to this Honda dealership before our experience on Jan 23rd. We have all of our Hondas serviced at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. My daughter was in Columbia last week and her engine light cam experience on Jan 23rd. We have all of our Hondas serviced at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. My daughter was in Columbia last week and her engine light came on, so we told her to take it to the Honda dealer in Columbia.She took it to Midlands Honda. She took it in and explained that the engine light had come on. She was told that they needed to run a diganostic test for $69.95 to determine what was wrong. We approved the test. Miguel came back and told us we needed: *A new Battery Cable $200 *Front Motor Mount $1,020 *2 Catalytic Convers $2,000 *4 New Tires $490 We did not approve any of the "recommended" repairs and my daughter left. This week, we took the car to Discount Tires in Rock Hill where the tires were purchased 40,000 miles ago. And were ready to buy 4 new tires, they went out and checked the tires and came in and told us WE DIDN'T NEED TO REPLACE ANY OF THE TIRES. They all still had plenty of tread on them. SAVINGS $490! We then took the car to Honda Cars of Rock Hill and were going to have them replace the Battery Cable and the Front Motor Mount. (Which their quote on the Front Motor Mount was $800 plus another 10% savings because we had a coupon). Our service rep, Connie Underwood, asked the mechanic to check to make sure these repairs were necessary before doing the work. The mechanic came back and said the battery cable only needed to be cleaned - SAVINGS $200. And it was the rear motor mount that needed to be replaced not the front one. No we are doubtful that the catalyic converters even need to be replaced since none of the other repairs that Midlands Honda said needed to be done have to be done. Between Discount Tires and Honda Cars of Rock Hill we have saved over $700. We are having the rear motor mount replaced next week at Honda Cars of Rock Hill and that will save us over $300 from Midlands Honda's price. We will never ever set foot in Midland Honda again. I will have my daughter's car towed to Rock Hill if she ever needs to have it serviced and can't safely drive it to Rock Hill. We were never a customer of Midlands Honda before. And this one experience made sure that we will never be a customer of Midlands Honda. By treating us this way they have lost a potential customer. Maybe this will teach them a lesson to try to not take advantage of young adults and to lie to customers about unnecessary repairs. More
